For my first Wasteland? I have to admit I missed hardstyle and being able to just...rave. I also wanted to show support and raise awareness for suicide prevention month. See slide 2 for that.

Every festival teaches me something and this time, I learned to live in the moment. We get caught up on taking all the photos and videos possible that we tend to miss out on good memories and cherish the feeling we get when we truly let loose and dance our hearts out. For once, I didn't bother capturing every moment, just moving forward in it and I made memories with people that I may or may not see again, and that's ok.
-
Did I want to meet up with old friends from prior festivals? Yes. Did I want to spend time with my friends that were in many groups across the map? Yes. Did I want to document every memory? Also yes. Most of that didn't happen which is why I have a few good photos and videos that @mr.niceguy263 was able to send me lol. We met at Beyond Wonderland and I was more than happy to join him on this adventure!

AND WE HAD FUN.

I decided on this last minute as an old photo popped up for me in Google photos memories. I saw the face in highlight photo of a person close to me who committed suicide years ago. This month hits me pretty close but I've learned to make peace with myself. I did what I could at that time and I did show up.
-
Surprisingly, @mr.niceguy263 also mentioned he lost someone close to him. That person is the inspiration he had to build his own daft punk helmet which he wears in her honor! I think our shared experiences made our trip more of a different type of festival instead of your standard RaveBull shenanigans.

And ironically, @marriottbonvoy provided our room with matching keys. The odds of that happening are idk and idc but it was cool. Looks like the universe had it lined up for us from the beginning. Makes it more wholesome.

Every machine reaches the end of the road eventually. This one just happens to lead somewhere new. Goodbye, Tulsa.
