#EastLA #EastLAMoves #ElEsteSeMueve #TransportationPlanning #comunidad

It’s here! The East LA Moves / El Este Se Mueve Mobility Corridor Final Plan is live in English and Spanish—and it belongs to East LA. 💕 This is the first participatory planning project in East LA, meaning the community didn’t just weigh in at the end—residents helped shape the vision from the very beginning. Every story, every suggestion, and lived experience shared by community members is reflected in this Plan, which now serves as a blueprint to transform East LA’s streets to be safe and accessible for everyone. The Plan focused on mobility enhancements on three Collision Concentration Corridors: - Cesar E. Chavez Ave from Eastern Ave to Colonia de las Palmas - Eastern Ave from Floral Dr to 3rd St - Ford Blvd from Floral D to 4th St Thank you to our 15-member Community Advisory Committee.🙏 Over many months, CAC members showed up, walked their streets, asked hard questions, and brought the perspectives of the people who move through East LA every day—parents, students, youth, cyclists, seniors, business owners, people with disabilities, and public transit riders. This Plan exists because of their time, care, and expertise. @publicmatters is honored to have led community engagement for this unprecedented project—and grateful to everyone who dedicated their ideas to shaping an East LA for all. Read the Plan at the link in our bio or visit https://pw.lacounty.gov/projects/east-la-moves-el-este-se-mueve Tag or share with a neighbor, parent, business owner, or rider who should see this. #EastLA #EastLAMoves #ElEsteSeMueve #TransportationPlanning #Community
