Following Theo Hirschfield's debut solo presentation last year, Gallery Sonder is proud to present the artist's second exhibition with the gallery: Euphorbia.

In Euphorbia, Hirschfield departs from the style of composition that characterized his previous bodies of work. Instead of pure biology, his forms propose a cohabitation, a symbiosis, and finally a fusion of nature and technology. They recall candy, cyber-botanical hybrids, and alien flora. Their lush, taut exteriors suggest the volumes held within; the mystery of what’s inside is almost as tantalizing as the secret of how these bodies formed, where they source power, and how they live.

Join us along with the artist on Saturday, September 12, 7–9 pm to celebrate the opening of Euphorbia.
