We the people aren’t playing. 💪 Indivisible Rockland spent the whole day with the NAACP, Citizen Action, CohortZ, People to People, Lali the Clown and DJ Stretch at the mall talking with our neighbors, and honestly? It was a blast. 🛍️🗳️ We heard what matters to Rockland families: lower costs, protecting healthcare, and leaders who actually show up and listen. People stopped, asked questions, shared their stories, and walked away with a plan to vote! Early voting continues through November 1st. Election Day is November 3rd. Make a plan and VOTE!! 🗳️

From the bottom of my heart — thank you. To every guest who showed up, every supporter who donated, every vendor, volunteer, and sponsor who poured love into the Swim For Yinka Luncheon — you made magic happen. What started as a passion has become a mission to make swimming accessible, joyful, and life-saving for our community. Because of YOU, families will have the chance to learn water safety and experience the gift of swim. Keep an eye out for an email regarding those free lessons! To our amazing vendors — our photographer, videographer, DJ, decor team, and our incredible MC Marco — thank you for bringing this vision to life with so much grace and professionalism. To our keynote, Alia Atkinson and our panel speakers — thank you for sharing your heart, your story, and your power. And to our auction donors and bidders your generosity directly fuels swim lessons and hope. This is just the beginning. We are so grateful to have you in the Swim For Yinka family. With love and gratitude, Ziggy | Founder, Swim For Yinka #SwimForYinka #ThankYou #WaterSafety #CommunityLove

If you missed our first event, you missed an unforgettable story! Olympic medalist Cullen Jones shared his inspiring journey—from his early days learning to swim at the JCC to standing on the podium alongside Michael Phelps. While swimming didn’t come as naturally to him as basketball, dedication and grit turned it into his lifelong calling. Don’t miss our next event on October 18th! We are thrilled to welcome a 5-time Olympian, World Record holder, and Jamaica native, Alia Atkinson, who will share powerful insights on resilience, determination, and breaking through barriers. Date: October 18, 2026 Reserve your spot today! Purchase your tickets at https://linktr.ee/swimforyinka #swimforyinka🏊🏿‍♀️ #blackpeopleswim #drowningprevention #changingthenarrative #savinglives
