Dope event to be apart of for sure! Shout out to @imperial_barberlounge for having me be a part of the event!
.
Also shout out to everyone that competed in the different events,it takes a lot of guts to out yourself in the line against your peers and do your thing but you all showed up and showed out💪🏽
We as a community need to understand that these battles and competitions aren’t for ego it’s to challenge each other, learn something new ,network and sharpen each others toolkit. This as all about pushing the industry and seeing who on their A game that day!
.
Can’t wait to start cooking up the next one, bigger and better on the way! Stay tuned 😎

My first barber battle and I took home 1st place in the Student Division! 🏆💈

I’m so honored. Having come to this country just 5 years ago with limited English, stepping into my first barber competition as the only woman competing and walking out a champion is something I’m incredibly proud of.

Thank you to the hosts, my instructors, my friends, my wife, and my model for trusting me and believing in me.

First battle. First place. Just getting started. 🔥✂️

Primera batalla. Primer lugar. Acabo de empezar. 🔥✂️

First of all, thank God for blessing me and giving me the opportunity to take home 1st place. 🙏🏽🏆

Thank you to my family for always supporting me, to everyone who believed in me, and to every single person who helped make this competition possible. This trophy represents years of dedication, sacrifice, long days, and never giving up on what I love.

Most importantly, much respect to every barber who stepped on that stage and competed. 💈🤝🏽 It takes courage to put your work out there and compete alongside so much talent. Like I said in the video, if I could break this trophy into pieces, I would give a piece to every person who was part of this moment.

I hope we continue building this barbering family and culture here in Minnesota, creating more events like this, supporting each other, growing together, and taking our craft to another level.

Minnesota has A LOT of talent, and I’m proud to represent it. 📍💈🔥

Thank you for the opportunity, the love, and the support. This is only the beginning. 🙏🏽🏆
