Two years ago today, I received a cancer diagnosis.
It was my birthday.
I remember thinking- what a cruel gift.
When I try to recall those first couple months, it’s all quite blurry, as though someone spread Vaseline over every memory.
But I do remember the feelings that came with it. How the anxiety subsided to an overwhelming sense of peace.
How lucky I felt, to have the people in my life.
And what a beautiful life it is.

Today, I remain grateful for all of it.
The wonderful people who make my life unbelievably full. Art. Music. Stories.
The animals I love and the earth’s unconditional beauty.
And as of late: the cancer free scans.
Life really is a gift

My incredibly talented friend, @mr_existential writes the most angelic, emotional, ethereal music! I am obsessed with everything he writes! When he asked if I wanted to cover it i was so EXCITED! I dragged him to a studio so we could jam! this is me learning it, I don’t know it too well yet, but what I love about this video is that it’s not perfect, but you can see the love and the joy in both of us just doing something we love together! We could of spent another few hours here and maybe we will soon :-)

A WICKED NIGHT! 💚🩷💚🩷 Such a beautiful night, connecting and re-connecting with my favorite people, whilst being dazzled by such a beautiful string of performances by @arianagrande and @cynthiaerivo - their voices gave me chills.
