The INO Marketing Department came into some money, so naturally we built a time machine and travelled back to 1875 to interview Georges Bizet about his new opera, Carmen. ⏳🎭 We had a few questions. His answers raised even more. 👀

Special thank you to our intrepid interviewer @renatarimbu for travelling back in time and posing as a man, and to @mr_gallaghers for taking on the role of Bizet.

✨2025 RECAP✨

The most amazing year with the most amazing people who love to make ideas come to fruition🍇🍎🍉 and to everyone who came to see and shared and spread the word - THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU❤️❤️❤️
~~~~
• Forbidden Fruit had its debut @sceneandheardfestivalofnewwork 2025
• Next I learned the most and had an amazing time meeting amazing people with Box of Tricks @abbeytheatredublin
• I was an Axis Assemble member with @axis_ballymun where I received the most support and received great feedback and time to develop Forbidden Fruit from @fiercejoyful + @krystalsweedman and met inspiring people.
• Forbidden Fruit had its full debut reading @dublinfringefest as part of TenderWrite Big Plays thanks to Veronica Coburn + Gavin Kostick. (Amazing review from @bingefringemag😭)
• Forbidden Fruit then went to @backstagetheatrelongford for the @lastafestival with the support of @marykhaleeva
• And to finish the year off, my short play ‘Ill-defined’ was selected in a competitive public call out by The Navigator Project + @fishamble.
Looking back at all this is incredible because as someone who is way too much of an overachiever I thought I hadn’t done a lot, especially with how the year ended but I’m so grateful and so happy that this year has been surpassed all my expectations and has been filled with so many amazing people - I hope to see you all in 2026 - and keep an eye out for more to come!
Special, special hugs and thanks go to the amazingly talented people who worked on Forbidden Fruit: @nelpppppp, @robintmusic, @fathimahkara_actor, Fiachra Ó Laighneáin, Bea Adomaityte, @mr_gallaghers and @eftichia_spyridaki ❤️❤️
