The fact that I was able to shoot BTS on this production says EVERYTHING about the level of trust and respect @troyesivan and his team gave us. 💖

We weren’t treated like talent hired as cattle to fill a role, we were treated like the ARTISTS we are helping bring a vision to life. That is the mark of a true visionary.

Trans women are not props. We are not accessories. We are not here for your amusement. We are gifts to this world, artists, muses, dreamers and forces of creation who have spent our lives surpassing boundaries just to become the icons we were always meant to be.

When you give us the respect, freedom and space to create, EVERYONE’S art thrives!

Wake up, world. 🌎💋 THIS is the new standard.

Words cannot express how full of joy I am getting to share one of the most special moments of my life. 🌹

In between takes, I got to talk to one of my lifelong heroes, @nicolekidman, and tell her how much her film with @bazluhrmann Moulin Rouge! changed my life. I even showed her how the interiors of @dollhausla were inspired by that world & how sometimes I feel like I’m literally living inside Satine’s boudoir.

She turned to me and said, “Well, you are Satine!”

And I literally died. ☠️😭🌹 A full circle moment I will never forget.

Thank you @troyesivan for sharing your magic with us and for continuing to uplift trans voices at a time when the political world so often tries to cast us aside. Being welcomed, celebrated, and given space to shine means more than you know.

And a huge shoutout to the entire @gvsgvs team who worked tirelessly to bring this vision to life, and to my good sister @shaynielsencasting for putting me up for this role of a lifetime.

My little showgirl heart is overflowing. ❤️‍🔥

Everyone should take notes on the way @troyesivan uplifts the dolls and the women around him. 💗

After years of working on major sets, this was hands down one of my favorite experiences. I felt seen, celebrated, loved, and genuinely taken care of by Troye and his entire team.
