Today 3 years ago, I had the privilege of giving my father back to his Heavenly Father. That wasn’t an easy thing to do but because of my unique relationship with my dad over the years I knew my siblings, nieces and nephews and I would be just fine!

You see, when daddy’s children/grandkids wasn’t even aware, he was always watching over them. In our time alone, my dad would ask me what was going on with Jaye, Rasheida, Brandi, RJ and their families. And as the meddling middle child I always reported back, “Dad, such and such is sick, or Dad, such and such needs help with xzy, Dad, such and such is in trouble or isn’t behaving right, Dad, such and such has a desire to accomplish this”. My dad would show up at their door when they hadn’t even talked to him yet. Or he would say, go get my card, Angel and send them this money or go pay that for them, or he would confront whatever/whoever was bothering them. If you knew my dad, he had a presence of authority. Two of my favorite things about him were his deep voice and his big hands. Everything would come into alignment when he got involved.

And so while on June 13, 2023 my dad’s assignment as father to his children/grandchildren had come to an end. His Heavenly Father, who taught me the love of a father through my relationship with my dad, is still on His job! He’s still watching over the children/grandchildren of Romus Myers Jr. Even when we are not aware, His angels are reporting back what we need before we even ask!

This journey these last three years have truly shown me by God’s faithfulness, compassion, kindness, goodness , healing, patience, provision, protection, discipline and joy: that I am a child of the Father!

ABBA I thank you!!🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽💙💙💙

“People of the world who don’t know God pursue these things, but you have a Father caring for you, a Father who knows all your needs.Since you don’t need to worry—about security and safety, about food and clothing—then pursue God’s kingdom first and foremost, and these other things will come to you as well.My little flock, don’t be afraid. God is your Father, and your Father’s great joy is to give you - Luke 12:30-31
