back 2 where it all began baby!! found myself in Chicago the other weekend and had 2 pay tribute 2 the former site of THE WAREHOUSE, the club where house got it’s name* very cool to be stood in a spot that had seen so much formative dance music history

then it was over to @gramaphonerecords 4 a huge dig which owner @michaelserafini obliged with a ton of handpicked bits from the racks after I specifically said I was after stuff I could only buy in the US. Thank you Michael!!

My latest @rinse.fm show is a collection of those tunes which includes a bunch of deep house, dj international test pressings and mega bomb disco edits.

up now on the rinse site 2 av a listen back m8zzz

*although interestingly no house music was played there as it closed down in 1982 hmm discuss?

chicago, i am in awe of you 🏆

such a special weekend at @arcmusicfestival. went for the full 4 days, played the festival + an afterparty and spent the rest of the on the dancefloor surrounded by the best people. if you were at either of the sets you'll know how special that energy was. i still can't believe i played a set sandwiched in between detroit love + lil louis & the blessed madonna. crazy

ran into so many fab people over the weekend, such a pleasure chatting with the best supporters on the planet. i feel very lucky and super inspired. can't thank you enough for being so amazing. thanks to all the staff at the festival as well as all the djs on the line-up for playing some mindblowing sets. i love music 😁😁😁

see you soon ❤️

🚨Chaos In The CBD🚨

What a night supporting these two legends at Shoreditch House. I provided the warm up and closing sets, followed by a very fun B2B with the @chaosinthecbd_ boys.

Great tunes, great vibes and a load of laughs, untill next time lads…

As usual, grainy clips for the grid ➡️
