Happy Friday, friends ☀️📖

I thought it’d be fun to pick my top four books from each of the last few years! 2021 was when I went from 4-5 books annually to 50+, so now I have a solid five years to look back on and evaluate. Choosing just four was honestly difficult but these are the ones that absolutely shook me as I read/listened. (Probably 3/4 of these were audio 🎧)

Also: putting this together made me realize how many nonfiction books I’ve given five stars! Including some that didn’t even make the cut here. Braiding Sweetgrass and Stay True are two major honorable mentions, and now I’m like… should I be reading more nonfiction?? 🤔

Also over half of these are LGBT stories 🏳️‍🌈 yay

I put off making this for so long because I don’t trust myself to actually 1) finish ten more books this year & 2) finish ten books that past me picked out for future me (the trials & tribulations of being a mood reader) 😅

alas, I still decided to try it out & see how it goes! will report back, successful or not lol. I tagged some people who have inspired me to read some of these! any on your ten before the end as well? 🤓
