Last weeks sunset was awesome!! Well friends and family the holidays have come and gone and I have a question? Fess up, who besides me buys gifts for Christmas and then can’t find them when it’s time to pull everything out? A week later I find some things and there’s one item still unfound. I’m currently living full time in our RV, just how do things get misplaced in small places? It’s a mystery😂😂😂#smallspaces #rvliving #mystery #sunsets #nwarkansas

Today has been a breezy perfect day. The previous days have been smoke filled from fires out west from four other states. I never tire from looking at this giant tubular stone that is just so majestic! Amazing that people come from all over the country and the world to the middle of nowhere to see this monument. It’s so much bigger in real time. Luckily part@of the hiking trail that goes up and around the rocks is paved and I was so happy for that. Another bucket list item checked off the list. The stroll and time spent just sitting still and listening to the breeze pass is quiet and spiritual. A couple of climbers with their ropes passed us coming back down from their climb. There’s eagles flying around and you will see them land on ledges. I’m assuming they nest up there. What a view! Everyone should visit this place.

Seems like we have a resident big guy that has been around for days. He usually lays down maybe 20 ft just inside the thick woods that surrounds the RV Park. He hasn’t bothered anyone, just ignore everyone. After dark every night we hear the Elk bugle one another! How sweet it is to listen to the night sounds. The park doesn’t have a lot of lights and that makes all the difference to watch the stars at night. By the way, the whole time we have been here there is little or to no cell service. So family and friends if you do not hear from me, I’m not ignoring anyone it’s just I’m not seeing much. Photos and most posts don’t show up on my FB page. Not able to watch anything and things just don’t open. My gosh the weather has been picture perfect!! Days usually in the 60’s and nights go from high 20’s to 33 degrees. FYI, no youtubes or photos prepared us for what we have seen here in real time. The majestic views and the magnitude of how big this place is! Jar dropping views of Yellowstone lake!! Enormous, gigantic and beautiful for as far as your eyes can see! We have seen 3 bears all in different locations, an elk, hundreds of buffalo. The elk population is larger than the buffalo herds and yet we haven’t seen them, but hear them at night. I wish everyone could visit this National Park. We pack a lunch when we go out to drive the loops and recommended drives. We would have already left the park but Little Bear decided he wanted to roll in a fresh buffalo patty😱It happened so quick😂 Son had to rinse him off outside and bring him straight to the shower for a good lathering up bath! Little guy loves to roll in anything dead or stinky. I’m way behind in posting any photos because the lack of a good signal. Everyone have a great day!!!🤗
