Last week at #DesigningGreenwich, Chris LaGuardia joined Kathryn Herman of @kathrynhermandesign and @deborah_nevins of Deborah Nevins & Associates for “Grounded in Beauty: The Art of Landscape Design,” moderated by @mrclintsmith.

It was a great two days of conversations, with inspiring panels and speakers from across the design industry. Thank you to @cottagesgardens & @nivenbreen for bringing together such a thoughtful group and for including LDG in the conversation.

This week, NYC&G’s @mrclintsmith and @subzerowolfandcoveshowroomny hosted an exclusive group of design professionals at the newly redesigned A&D showroom. Chef @miranda.szwc prepared a delectable dinner. The conversation was flowing in this inspiring space illustrating the latest @subzeroandwolf technologies.

HOLY SIXTEEN PAGES AND ANOTHER COVER!!! 🤩

Couldn’t be more excited to see this project in print — Melissa’s eye for detail and pattern is unparalleled. We kicked things off with a team dinner, and between that, a LOT of coffee and energy that was completely in sync, bouncing ideas around and finishing each other’s sentences made the whole thing feel like magic.

So much warmth, color and personality packed into these pages… just wait until you see all the photos, little sneak peek on the last slide 👀

We’re proud to have brought this historic East Hampton home into its next chapter. Working alongside designer Melanie Morris of @melaniemorrisinteriors and @jamesmcchesneyarchitect, our team executed an extensive renovation and addition designed to feel beautiful and effortlessly livable at once.
Sinuous forms, custom cabinetry and millwork, and marble sourced with real intention give the interiors a softness that plays against the strong architectural lines outside. As Melanie puts it, the goal was tying the history of the home together with its newness.
Thank you to @cottagesgardens for featuring the project.
“Classic Update” was originally published in HC&G (Hamptons Cottages & Gardens) and on cottagesgardens.com.

At the #HamptonClassic, the table décor quickly becomes a part of the occasion.

The bar was high, but in the HC&G VIP Tabletop Contest @compasslihamptons took home Best in Show 🏆 @onequince followed in second, with @wolfferestatestables rounding out the podium in third.

The honors continued with Aquitaine Equine taking Best Floral Design, the XO Lignelli table earning Most Innovative, and @frankandeileen taking Best Overall Theme. 🍽️

Many thanks to our judges Clinton Smith, Kelly Klein and Gabby De Felice who took their time and crowned our winners in the VIP Tabletop Décor Contest, presented by @cottagesgardens. 🌺🪻

So grateful to see this very special project featured in Hamptons Cottages & Gardens. ❤️

A project that was incredibly dear to our amazing clients and to us—and one that came together through a truly wonderful collaboration. Thank you to our clients for trusting us with such a special home.

Thank you Clinton Smith and the HC&G team for sharing it, and Laura Fenton for telling its story so beautifully.

To Chris Gardner of TUNA Architecture, the best creative partner; Bill Stratton Building Company, for the incredible craftsmanship and execution; Wagner Hodgson Landscape Architecture, for approaching the landscape with such thoughtfulness and reverence; and Tim Lenz, for your always incredible eye and for capturing it all so beautifully.

And always my ESD Team — couldn’t do it without you! ❤️

Very proud of this one.

Love seeing all of this creativity for a cause from our design community! Earlier this summer, LaGuardia Design Group (@laguardia_design) hosted BIRDHAUS, where these one-of-a-kind birdhouses were auctioned off to benefit The Madoo Conservancy. 🪶🪺

Thank you @cottagesgardens @mrclintsmith

“I wanted it to be beautiful, and I wanted it to be amazing, but I don’t want anything too precious,” says designer Melanie Morris of Melanie Morris Interiors. Working alongside James McChesney Architect and Koral Building Co., Morris reimagined this East Hampton home by thoughtfully tying together its history with its newness through soft curves, one-of-a-kind furnishings, natural stone, and sculptural lighting. Designed for a family that spends the entire summer here, the home balances beauty with comfortable, everyday living and entertaining.
