Looking back over the past years, we are always reminded of our “why” did we get started, at times challenged on why “men” even so much that the very men this club was established for where the ones doing the challenging

The saying “what’s understood doesn’t need to be explained” goes the distance in the complexity of why creating and establishing a sacred place for Black and Brown Men is not only necessary, but needed

This past week blessed us in more ways than we can really put into words and here’s why

1. The transition we are making in this season happened solely on the backs of the men who show up for their communities and family everyday

2. Before anyone enter into the space for our new season, they did and they did so with so much dignity, humility and respect

3. In the closing of them assisting with the transition, they prayed, they affirmed and collectively united hand to hands and shoulder to shoulders blessing the very ground they and thousands of Kansas Citians will stand on in the days, weeks and years to come

To the men who stand in the gap, hold membership, serve on councils, partner with us, bring up our names in rooms they we may not be in, share the relentless love and passion to encourage other men to join us, we say thank you

Because of you, we exist and because of you, we will continue to move forward

Thank you BLAKK Man

Stay connected with us as we transition fully into this next season, we will share moments and updates on how you can join us in the city, where you can find your people

This is what COLLABORATION looks like.
• CONSISTENCY
• COMMITMENT
• COMMUNICATION
Although there are other words that makes gives shape to the meaning, those were the first 3 that started with the letter C that I could think of.

Eric D. Williams, I’m proud to share the stage with you because you make it easy! Your heart is in the right place, no ego exists, and the only competition that we both battle is being and doing better than we’ve ever done before!

Cheers to another successful #TurkeyTuesday and many many thanks given to all those involved in making this year one for the books! We set a goal for 1,000 turkeys and we went above and beyond… over 1,200 birds throughout the community ‼️ 🦃 🍻

God is good 🙏🏾
