Falling in love with all the details ✨ @hermes SS27✨

As an artist, I’m always drawn to the details and @hermes SS27 was full of them, from tactile textures to unexpected touches that made me look twice ✨. In a light-filled setting, it felt like more than a collection but a celebration of the way great design brings people together. Hermès just seem to know when I'm in need of a mental pick-me-up, and after months bringing my business to fruition, I'm covered in stress pimples and have ragged lips. Their Intensive Lip Care Mask and Lip Balm arrived today, and take a treatment-led approach to lip care, combining immediate comfort with longer-lasting conditioning. The mask has a richer, more enveloping texture, while the balm is lighter and better suited to regular use throughout the day. Neither feels excessively glossy or heavy, and both leave the lips noticeably softer. There is a characteristic Hermès restraint to the experience: considered, tactile and beautifully presented, without unnecessary fuss. @chinaheights first time at @sydneycontemporary !!!
Had an incredible time running into friends, and artists from all over. Crazy few days!
Thank you endlessly to Ed and Nina @chinaheights for all of their hard work getting us all in there, and to everyone who came by the booth to see the works, or have a chat.

My personal favourite is The Rosey lip enhancer which glides on effortlessly for something subtle but more than your natural lip.

There’s something about scent that feels almost impossible to capture, which made sketching my interpretation of @hermes Barénia Pleine Fleur such a lovely challenge ✍️.

I wanted these drawings to feel like the fragrance.. detailed, gentle and a little unexpected.

I think that’s what I love most about being an artist, finding a way to make something you can’t see feel visible.

@shentel often peaks about the moment something “winks” at you. That subtle, magnetic pull when an object catches your eye and holds your gaze just a little longer than expected. It’s instinctive, almost fleeting, yet impossible to ignore.

These are the pieces that gave me that unmistakable wink.
