![Here is some historical knowledge on the BURGERTIME (by Intellevision) Commercial Ad [1983] in a nutshell...
The 1983 BurgerTime for Intellivision commercial was wild, frantic, and unintentionally hilarious. It opened with the chef sprinting through a fast‑food diner yelling “Help me!” as giant hot dogs, eggs, and pickles chased him down like a culinary horror movie. Intellivision pushed the chaos as proof of the game’s intensity, even though the console was infamous for its clunky disc controller that made precise movement feel like a fight for survival. The ad exaggerated everything—danger, drama, and diner‑style madness—to make the gameplay look larger than life.
The funniest moment came when one of the villainous hot dogs stopped mid‑chase, turned directly to the camera, and declared “We’re closed now!” with perfect comedic timing. It was absurd, memorable, and exactly the kind of offbeat humor early‑80s game ads thrived on. Between the chef’s desperate cries and the food trying to eat him, the commercial captured BurgerTime’s charm while reminding everyone that Intellivision delivered chaos… even if its controls made you yell “Help me!” too.

![Here is some historical knowledge on CHOCK FULL o'NUTS Coffee Commercial Ad (feat. Pinocchio and Page Morton Black) [1961] in a nutshell...
Chock Full o’ Nuts dropped a legendary 1961 TV spot that birthed a generational core memory. The commercial features a puppet Pinocchio standing next to a giant coffee can, confidently capping about how the brew makes "twice as many cups." On cue, his wooden nose morphs into a massive antenna on screen. Enter Page Morton Black—the company founder’s wife—serving pure vintage glamour. With her stark black bob, pale skin, and sharp white collar, she gave absolute live-action Snow White energy, accidentally cementing a pop-culture optical illusion for decades to come.
Instead of calling out his fake news, Page immediately checks Pinocchio's exaggerated claim. She mic-drops facts about the blend giving you just one-third more coffee, then hits us with the ultimate earworm hook: "Chock Full o’ Nuts is that heavenly coffee - Better coffee a millionaire’s money can’t buy!" This mashup of storybook lore and high-contrast 1960s TV styling still hits hard. Decades later, old-school Boomers and Gen-Z crate-diggers are mesmerized by this eerie, charming snippet of retro media. Long before clickbait and CGI, a puppet caught lying in 4K about caffeine was peak appointment viewing.
