🎃Another Halloween weekend for the books! The 6th annual spooktacular kicked off Friday with us hosting 40 “kids” (a full blown teen-takeover 😅)

When creating customized color effects, @bellamihairpro micro ktips are where it’s at! When trying to mimic or create a highlight or balayage look on your guest you want to be able to control the blend and sizes of the pieces you need to create the perfect blend or color block! With micros you already have the perfect size for customizing and then you can easily and quickly break it down even more when and where needed.
For this Micro Ktip install I used 4 different colors to blend and create this finished look.
1. 1B/2/6 rooted
2. 1C/18/46 rooted
3. 18/46 marble
4. 3 natural
By mixing not only multiple colors, but also the different gradients, you can see how easy it is to create the most beautiful and natural looking blend.
A great trick I like to do is to pre blend the hair on my strand holder before install. This not only lets me see how the blend will look visually before I permanently install them but also helps me go faster with my install and not have to think about which color I need next! When you pre blend you can see where you might want to change it up and you can keep yourself in order!
I always try to make sure I am using rooted colors around the hair line to blend with the natural! I also like to go higher than usual in the crown to allow for some lighter pieces to be seen a little higher and create an even more natural balayage look!
