It’s districts play!!!
.
.
You didn’t start or you didn’t feel that you were needed during the regular season…that’s ok. You need to stay locked in and ready it’s district time.
.
.
This time of yea coaches really get laser sharp focused and they know when to make the call for the guy to spark the team. They know when to call for the guy with ice minus veins to pitch hit. They know the guy to put in defensively. They know the guy that’s quick enough to get in scoring position and score on base hit.
.
.
THAT’S YOU!!!
.
.
When your name is called:
Be ready mentally
Be ready physically
Be ready emotionally
.
.
Don’t be in your head about how you should be starting , this is absolutely the wrong time for that kind of mindset.
.
.
Be an asset not a liability!!
.
.
Your team needs you!
Your coach needs you!
Most important …
You need you!!!
.
.
Stay locked in jit!!! It’s your time!! GO GET IT!

Today, we celebrate the legacy of a titan: Jackie Robinson. ☀️🌴⚾️

For many, today is a day of celebration. But we must remember that Jackie’s barrier-breaking journey came at a tremendous personal cost—a reality of systemic hate and segregation that he faced head-on, even here in Florida.

In 1946, while training in Sanford, FL, Jackie was met with hostility and threats simply for wanting to play the game he loved. He was forced out of the city, denied basic dignity, and reminded daily that his presence was “unwelcome” by those who feared change.

We share this history not just to look back, but to recognize that the fight for true equality is a journey we are still on today.

That is why we are so incredibly grateful and honored to host the Florida Shine Classic in Sanford this year. To see diverse, talented student-athletes taking the field in that very same city—supported, celebrated, and pursuing their dreams—is a testament to how far we’ve come and a powerful reminder of why we continue to push forward.

Jackie taught us that courage is quiet, but it is also relentless. Let’s keep his legacy alive by ensuring every athlete has a fair shot at the diamond. ✊🏾⚾️
