N O S T A L G I A

Humble Chef has been our go-to place for late-night meals since 2007. Operated on a food truck above Jalan Semantan (yep, ada flyover across Jalan Semantan dulu. Now dah jadi MRT station and Pavillion)

Then they opened a physical lot at Plaza Damansara. It has been #ohmykiddo staple food most of the time after her sekolah agama sessions. It’s the closest and quickest diner to feed the “hungry lil monster” 😄

Fast forward, had a chance to visit them last night at their new lot in Mutiara Damansara. Ordered our usual meal since 2007. Served in plates with bigger portions now😱

After a bite, #ohmykiddo maffled - so nostalgic!

Get to meet and chat with the Humble Chef himself; Rosman. Biasa dia dok kat dapur sibuk masak, dari zaman trak sampai DH lot. Still the same crazy chap. Maybe he’s half-crazy now. Older and wiser ☺️

All the best bro! We’ll surely come again soon.

Humble Chef - always a fan since 2007. Since the food truck eras.

Since moved to Mutiara Damansara, we have not been visited. So, yesterday we finally had the opportunity and enjoyed our favourite meal.

Unexpectedly, we met with Mr Humble itself, Rosman Hussin. Known him before he was a chef, younger and crazy version 😂.

Definitely will visit again.

Landscape Escapade. 📷

Feels like the Portrait layout has been dominating my photos the last couple of years that I don't even remember how to curate and create the right composition on Landscape anymore. But today's breakfast drive I just felt like bringing it back...

Like how @humblechefmalaysia is back with my favourite Pesto Pasta. I call that a successful Sunday. 🙌🏼

#BukaPuasa Day 27 - @humblechefmalaysia

Humble Chef is backkk & only at The Curve. Kalau ada jumpa dkt tempat lain tu bukan the original one ye. Yang tak pernah kenal Humble Chef ni mmg humble kedainya, zaman dulu 1 plate RM5 je so auto amik 2 plates of pastas + omelette on the side (wajib). Price skrg pun still affordable, for noodles RM9-RM12 je. Btw unique kan makan pasta dgn omelette, only at Humble Chef 😆

Comeback kedai very Instagramable, suka seat pink! For now menu limited since the big boss sorang je yg masak but still ada everyone’s favs like laksa goreng, mac & cheese & pesto! Tiga-tiga I amik nak fulfil cravings punya pasal cuma tulah omelette je takda lagi 😭 then korang boleh pilih protein: chicken, beef, lamb or tuna. Best kan hehe also first time tried their quesadillas, sedap!

Location: Level 1 sebelah dipndip (near e-curve)
Price range for food: RM5-RM12
For drink: RM3 & RM9
