Most people don’t fail because they don’t know what to do.
They fail because they’re stuck in a pattern they can’t break.

That’s exactly where Jackson was when he first came to us.

He’d been making some unhealthy choices, felt off track, and kept telling himself he wanted to get under 15% body fat—but not just for how he looked. For him, that number meant something deeper: proving to himself that he actually had the discipline and consistency to follow through on something hard.

From day one, it was obvious Jackson didn’t need hype. He needed a plan.

So we built one:
Simple steps. Clear actions. Weekly goals that created momentum instead of overwhelm.

At first, the only goal was: just get in the gym consistently.
Then we tightened up nutrition.
Then we layered in a full system of accountability—right down to texting photos of every meal to his coach, Nick.

Fast forward a few months…

Jackson didn’t just hit 15% body fat.
In his own words, he got into the best shape of his life.

Even better? Months later, he’s kept it off and is still pushing toward new goals.

This is what happens when you stop relying on motivation… and start building systems that actually fit your life.

Proud of you, Jackson. 👊

Why are we hanging upside down on a Tuesday night in LA? 🤸‍♀️😄

Because this is what it looks like when you truly get to know a client and their vision. Last night we met up, did some aerial yoga, and spent time connecting beyond spreadsheets and strategy decks.

We’ve been working with this client for a while now, starting with financial planning and business modeling. Now we’re moving into the next phase. Layout design. Branding. SOPs. Org charts. Software selection. All the details that turn a great idea into a great business.

This is also a good reminder that beyond keynotes, breakout sessions, and workshops, we love rolling up our sleeves and doing strategic advising work like this. Being in the weeds. Thinking holistically. Building something meaningful alongside our clients.

We’re excited to be on this journey and cannot wait to help bring this incredible studio to life. Sometimes the best progress happens when you’re willing to look at things from a different angle 🙌✨

You don’t have to be starting from scratch to need a coach.

When Jackson came to Virtuo, he was already in good shape.

But he felt stuck.

He was training consistently, eating pretty well, but couldn’t quite get to that next level—and his shoulder pain was holding him back from doing the things he loved outside the gym.

That’s where Coach Nick stepped in.

Together, they:

👉 Customized a training plan to work with his shoulder, not against it
👉 Addressed weak points and imbalances to get him out of pain
👉 Dialed in his nutrition to match his body composition goals
👉 Added accountability through weekly food photos, check-ins, and feedback
👉 Used regular DEXA scans to track progress in real-time

The result?

Less pain. More strength. Lower body fat. More muscle mass.
And a routine that fits into Jackson’s life without burning him out.

This is what so many of our clients are looking for—not a crash plan or a bootcamp, but a smart system to help them keep growing, stay injury-free, and truly optimize their health and performance.

Jackson’s crushing it—and we’re pumped to have him as part of the Virtuo crew.

Shoutout to Jackson for being so freaking awesome.
We can’t wait to see what the next phase brings.

If you’re already putting in the work but feel stuck, you don’t need to do it alone.
DM us “NEXT LEVEL” and we’ll send you the details on how to get started.

It’s shaky season!

To improve your muscle up, practice the transition:

Hold the top of a pull up
- Chin over the bar
-Then bring the bar to your chest
-Repeat

Go for 3-5 reps x 5 sets

Include:
Lots of pull ups and high pulls in your workouts!
