Thanks everyone for coming out last night for the very first Passenger Radio live event at @passengerrecovery! Thank you to Brian Liar @blairbrian, @phasedouut and @mrktband for putting on an AMAZING show! Thanks to @gothabillieman for making everything sound so damn good!

Last night was very special to me. It proved that the people in our city will come out to a recovery community center for an all-ages, substance-free show. That's the universal power of music. The sense of community last night was overwhelming because that is who WE ARE: a community of people who love and create art. Don’t ever forget this.

We need to support our community by showing up. So go see our local bands live. Buy their records, CDs and cassettes at your local record store. Listen to them on Passenger Radio WHCK.

You have a truly alternative streaming radio station right here in your backyard. Passenger Radio WHCK plays new releases, underground classics and hidden gems 24/7 at passengerradio.com. There’s a link in the bio.

Last night showed us there’s a place for this. Thank you for showing up and helping us build it. We’re just getting started.

This weekend, @passengerradiowhck held its first live music event on our grounds at the Community Center in Hamtramck! The event was part of our Sound & Video Engineering Internship Initiative, and allowed for evening programming for folks in recovery and our general community in a supportive arena, celebrating music and connection above all else. Big thanks to all who attended, and to @mrktband, @phasedouut, Brain Liar @blairbrian, @j_whck and Delirium Networks for making it all happen!

Heeeyyy yaaa’lll!! Excited to get back out and play a show with the snake bois! Been waiting to rock with MRKT for a long, hot minute. It’ll end up being 2 months since I broke my collarbone and a month after surgery, and I’m just pleased as punch to get back behind a kit. Come party with us, you big cuties :**
