Whatta week away. A 30+ year friendship reignited, Netflix is a joke comedy fest with a true queen in the business, an exhibition 50 years in the making, Palm Springs with Captain Jack Del Taco and an amazing KC crew, and an epic brunch that ended in the hospital with a dislocated elbow. I vacationed hard. #losangeles #netflixisajoke #palmsprings #needavacationfrommyvacation

19 years. A Queen to the end, Phoebe rode out six moves, three dogs, kidney disease, and mouth cancer. I don’t know how I got lucky enough to be pawpicked by her out of everyone in that snowstorm when she was only 6 months old, but I am that. Lucky. Thanks for always waiting by the door when I returned home, finding me when I was sick, returning my kiss every time, and ignoring my pleas to give my lap back when my legs fell asleep. I can’t wait to find you on the other side. Sugar Bear, Baby Girl, Miss Cries A Lot, Punk Ass Cat. I will never love another like you, but I ask that others find a Phoebe of their own or donate now to the link in my bio.

What a wedding weekend! Nothing better than celebrating the love of @lizkalberson and @tyler.j.garrett! I am still recovering from all the dancing forced upon me by my new friend Avi (who skillfully videotaped the father daughter dance).

Hard to say what I love most about Frank, who turns 80 today. His love of all things Bond, his ability to have a new joke ready every time I see him, our shared passion for writing, or those ridiculously good genes that keep him doing cartwheels even today. Love you, Frank! 😘

The 2024 LaMonica holiday card. There is a postal strike in Canada, so here’s hoping my favorite #hallmarkhunk Paul Campbell sees why I behaved the way I did for this photo… and that my favorite #designerhusband keeps matching my crazy. Happy Holidays, everyone ❤️💚

Stage 1 kidney disease is a blow, but we’re nowhere close to done with our time together. Hazelnut is the sunshine of my life.
