So a couple years back i got cast to be in this film and now it’s all coming together Cannes festival nominated it and it’s due to land on screen at some point in the future.

It was a proper experience being asked by Billy to come and do the part meeting all the people being on camera like that and having a proper giggle 🫶🏼

GOODBYE JUNE!!!

Goodbye June, directed by Kate Winslet, streaming @netflixuk as of today 🤙🏽

Back in January I got a random message asking if I was free to tutor a director in @makaton for a day. Cut to the end of April… wrapping on Goodbye June as the Makaton Adviser, surrounded by the most gorgeous cast and crew.

Working 1:1 with @ben_shortland2020 , supporting the incredible young people in the cast and their families, and supporting Kate to sign during the film was one of the most beautiful, surreal experiences.

Seeing a major production like Netflix take Makaton seriously- from crew learning basic signs to communication-inclusive spaces with symbols everywhere- meant the world. Everyone deserves a voice.

And look at my wonderful chum Ben, being absolutely incredible.

@maddie.hatt and I were tearing up all over the place at the cast & crew screening. Keep an eye out for the whole cast signing and singing Away in a Manger at the end- it’s magic. ✨

I’m so proud of Ben and his family. What an absolute gift this project has been.
