🖼🎨 PART 2️⃣ KINGSTON STREET ART FESTIVAL
And here’s Part 2! 🙌
We spent last weekend exploring the Kingston Street Art Festival, organised by @theroyalboroughofstreetart and curated by @5kyh1gh and @roo_art
With so much incredible work across Kingston, there was no way we could fit everything into one post. So, just like Part 1, we’ve picked out more of the pieces that caught our eye and stood out to us on the day.
So many different styles, ideas and approaches, all coming together to create something really special across the streets of Kingston.
Another huge congratulations to everyone involved. What a fantastic celebration of street art and creativity! 🎨🙌 @inkingstonuk @alfreshcodave

Here are some more of our favourites from the festival:

Bad attempt with my Polaroid I-2
Edited the underexposed Polaroid.

Was nostalgic walking down green street the only thing that's changed in 37 years is the Mural and the mall lol.

Standing on King’s John Court Street and admiring this mural on Colt Technology’s London headquarters in Shoreditch, prompted me to think of technology which I perceive as an emulation of nature; diverse, with a lot of components which need to be linked together in order to work. Everything needs to be connected so that the system will work.

To my this mural reflects humanity’s paradox: we build system which run on connectivity, we wire the world together, almost literally; yet severing our bond with nature and with one another.

Progress accelerates, extraction intensifies, and individuality eclipses collective care. As networks expand, empathy contracts. As innovation thrives, nature bears the cost. As individuality is amplified, community dissolves into noise.

Connection is not about speed or scale — but about responsibility, care, and remembering that nothing exists alone.

A question that comes to mind is: What would change if we reconnected not for advantage, but for care?

This is the amazing work of: @mroliverswitch @buskizm @el_nile_edward #hadleynewman @nomad.clan @mrcenzone @lovepusher
