We would like to invite you all to Dave’s celebration of life on Wednesday, May 27th at Bar A in Lake Como.

This will be a warm, welcoming space that reflects the way Dave made people feel throughout his life. We hope you’ll join us to share stories, memories, laughter, music, and time together with all the different worlds Dave brought together so naturally.

To know Dave was to feel welcomed by him, and we want this celebration to reflect that spirit.

Dave’s friends have also created a GoFundMe (https://www.gofundme.com/f/support-for-daves-legacy) to help support memorial and celebration of life expenses while honoring the incredible impact Dave had on so many people. Any remaining funds will be donated in Dave’s honor to Mental Health America and the Sudden Cardiac Arrest Foundation, two causes that meant a great deal to him.

Guests are encouraged to dress in whatever feels respectful and comfortable to them. Traditional black attire is absolutely not required.

This One Hurts Bad 💔 and I'm still not okay with it, it's still not registering to me. This past year we have lost so many of our Industry friends. I'm not here to preach, but we all need to do better. It's getting ridiculous that I have to see a lot of friends at Funerals and then hearing the infamous "WE NEED TO HANG OUT"
One thing that bothers me in the industry that I've noticed lately is a lot of Egos. The game got too cliquey and so many groups don't get together anymore as much. Everyone used to go out and support others 7 days a week. Yes, times have changed a bit and things got way more expensive and a lot of people have kids now too so no one is saying you need to be a party animal, but supporting your friends is very important. One night going out to support a friend at work or at an event can maybe change someone's feelings for the day if they're down and out.
Life is a wild roller-coaster and you never know how someone is feeling inside or what demons they're fighting. The main point of this all is to be there for your friends and loved ones.
DAVE (DQ) is one who always went out his way to help others and would take the shirt off of his back for you * who are we kidding, lol... he loved to take off his shirt to flex 💪🏽😃. Please make time for your friends because Dave always did, even if it's a simple phone call to check up on their well-being. Gatherings, dinners or even making time to support a friends event/game/fundraiser, etc. It all counts and can make the biggest difference in their lives.
Dave and I both work like dogs because it's in our blood, but we always made time to link up multiple times a year and/or support each other's business. Every time we got together it was awesome because we would have so many stories to catch up on. I'm thankful that I got to see you 3 times in the past month to catch up and helped support your businesses like a true friend should do. I'm going to miss your smile, laugh and also you helping me with my Shopify Platform that we had planned when I got back from Vegas 💔 I was really looking forward to that because you were a Pro at it.I will truly miss you Dave and whatever your family needs I got
