an o-1 visa approved artist of extraordinary ability kind of summer dump

so grateful to have had such a fulfilling summer with many a moment of excitement and also purposeful sitting still. the spring was a rollercoaster with the application process for my artist visa and i couldn’t have done it without the incredible people in my corner just straight up believing in me and supporting me when doubt came in (sending the biggest love to my artist representative and great friend Stefan Miller). my first full summer in nyc, if you don’t count a quick trip to latvia and maine, haha. let this be a love letter to the city, the arts, letting passion run through your veins, and the remarkable people i’ve gotten to meet and create with this summer.

By the time you read this, Block 21 of the Chain Theatre’s One-Act Festival will have begun their final performance (and to a SOLD-OUT house!!!). At this point, DANGER PRONE: PARADOX hit the time travel device one last time, destined to save the world. I cannot express my gratitude enough to @chaintheatrenyc for selecting this piece, @maxmgrinnell for directing, @linds_ross28 for keeping us sane, and our wonderful cast for breathing new life into these roles (@sydni.rivero, @xaviertcornell, @mrqcs). This is not a final stop for this show, but may it enter a peaceful hibernation. Thank you to all who supported it!

“Did I miss anything?”

You did if you didn’t see this show!
What a privilege to stage manage this fun campy show. It’s so much fun and I’m so sad it’s almost over! I have been involved with this show from the beginning and I can’t wait to see where it goes from here. .
I’m going to miss all these wonderful actors and creators, but happy that I get to add them to my collaborative community! Here’s to the last show next Thursday.

"We kinda rock" 🪨💚🦇

Guys, run, don't walk to see our final show of Danger Prone: Paradox at Chain Theatre on July 30th (tickets at link on bio). I have had an absolute blast putting this fun show together and performing on the @chaintheatrenyc stage has been such a delight (for those who don't know I held an internship there and had my nyc theater debut as a costume designer for their production of macbitches back in 2022). I loved getting to know these fantastic performers (@xaviertcornell and @mrqcs) and working under the brilliant direction of @maxmgrinnell. This fun, campy writing and plot has everything I love in one show. Can't wait to try and save the world one more time!
