I’ve had many friends ask me over the past year “where have you been.” “What exactly have you been doing? “
While I am not a skilled videographer, here best describes my year.
One year ago today my life changed. I went to a Townhall meeting to meet a man I consider to be a Hero, General Flynn. The General and Clay announced a Health and freedom conference that was to take place here in Tulsa. Completely out of my comfort zone I walked up to my now boss and said “Hi! My name is Tanya and I need to work for you. I need to be a part of this. I will volunteer, I will even clean bathrooms if that’s all that is needed.” With a look of surprise, He said “Really? Can you be here Monday?” Looking back, I don’t think either of could have ever
imagined that one conference would evolve into this great movement. Without a doubt, God had a plan for me and gave me the courage in that moment to act on it.
I could honestly go on and on about all the experiences throughout the year that have impacted my life and changed me, but I’ll try to keep it brief.
More than just sharing my year in pictures, I am documenting memories that will forever be cherished as it is time for me to say goodbye for now...
I write this through tears, as this was a very difficult decision for me. I love my job more than I can say just as I love all of the amazing people I have met along the way. The connections and most valuable, the friendships. Individuals that I hold in such high regard for their courage and bravery to stand up for truth. I’ve learned and been taught much.
Clay and Jonathan, I can’t thank you enough for believing in me. For pushing me and giving me the opportunity to use and grow skills I never realized I possessed. You both put together such an amazing team that I am honored to have been a part of. I’m so grateful to you both and will continue to cheer you on!
I’m so looking forward to this new chapter in my life. To be fully present in my children’s lives. To be a grandmother to our soon to be Evangeline. To watch my Hannah get married. Watching my Jess pursue her dreams and so much more.
This past year I was able to pursue something I am so passionate about. Thank you to my family
