Meet our enchanting Elena! ✨️

a little bit about her yoga history: 📖

"My true yoga journey began on a cold January evening in 2022 during a Candlelight Vinyasa class led by Kathleen. I had been attending yoga classes before that day, but I had never experienced anything like the Kula approach. I cried my eyes out after class because of the emotional and physical release my body experienced. Ever since then Kula has become my second home, a place where I feel most at peace with myself."

she is currently learning/exploring:

"Lately, I’ve been focusing more on the spiritual side of yoga: learning how to be a yogi in every daily interaction and cultivating true presence. I’m human, just like everyone reading this. I still catch myself trying to control, pushing too hard, and chasing physical results. And Instagram, filled with impossible-looking asanas (as if that’s all yoga is 😂), can definitely pull me in sometimes. It’s a reminder to look beyond maya (illusion) and return to what truly matters."

what brings her joy:

"Honestly, everything in my daily life and routine brings me joy—snuggles with my pup and cat, teaching and taking classes, spending time with friends, and planning trips… okay, especially planning and taking trips. 🤭"

a yoga pose that most challenges her:

"Savasana. Always and forever, my best friend and my nemesis. 🤍"

Favorite chakra to talk about:

"I can’t choose! 😭 But I probably talk about Muladhara (the Root Chakra) the most. I think it’s one of the most underestimated chakras, and so much of our healing begins with feeling grounded and safe."

a little extra about Elena:

"Ever since my first Satya class at Kula, I dreamed about experiencing a nighttime version. Can you imagine? Meditating, breathing, and moving under the stars✨ And now I get to be the one leading it this August. Pinch me🥹"

I just turned the same age Carrie was in the first season of Sex and the City😁 And after living in the USA for four years, I finally understand all their jokes and problems in the show 😁
