Sorry ladies, had to pull these out of the temp stories and into the archives. As the security guard wisely told us when we walked into the open, “Waste Management is a marathon, not a race” and, man, did we win! 😘 Such a blast with you all. 🥰

This Saturday our clients put aside the dumbbells and entered their Pilates Era! ✨ Our very own @shannon_decator and her studio @bodybarscottsdaleranch partnered with us to bring Pilates into strength training—with such an amazing turnout.

Our events are always a blast, but we never said you wouldn’t break a sweat! 💦 We love celebrating new skills and movements that strengthen the mind, body, and soul.

Special shoutout to @maddoxlaneaz for the post-Pilates meal-prepped goodies 🥗 , @lsmishlove for the yummy smart snacks, and to Shannon + the BodyBar team for turning us into Pilates Princesses for the day 👑 🩰

To our guest at Altered Athletics- we hope to see you again soon!🤩💪

Stay tuned for more events coming soon… but don’t forget, those dumbbells will be waiting for you next week 💪

Nikki used to struggle with anxiety every time she stepped foot into a gym — that all changed when she found Altered Athletics.

That’s what 16 months of showing up—for herself, her health, and her family—has built. 💪

When Nikki joined Altered, she struggled with gym anxiety and didn’t know where to begin. She wanted to feel stronger—not just for her kids, but for herself.

Now? She’s down 14lbs, 5% body fat, and can lift heavier than ever. But the physical change is only part of it.

She’s more disciplined. More energized. More sure of herself.

She’s made real friendships, found support in our trainers, and built a confidence that follows her everywhere—even outside the gym.

And the truth is—gym anxiety is more common than you think. We see it every day, and we’re here to help you move through it. It’s not about being perfect—it’s about finding the right people and the right place to grow. ✨

Her story is proof: when women feel safe, supported, and seen—everything can change.

With support from her trainer, @jaredmishlove, and the women beside her, Nikki built more than muscle—she built belief in herself. 💥
