March is a really busy month with Spring Break happening, but we’ve managed to offer three ways for moms to connect this month! Plus don’t forget to read our annual article “100 Things to do Over Spring (Break)” — there’s ideas from staycations to farm adventures in the ‘burbs — literally something for every age! 🐰 STORY TIME + CRAFT — Tuesday, March 10th at @thecafe127 with the art provided by @littlelemonartstudio ! It’s an Easter themed book (since Easter is SO EARLY this year)! ☕️ We’re back at @frenchtruckmemphis South Highland on Monday, March 23rd at 9am. There’s a great patio we’ll be hopefully using! 🐰 STORY TIME + CRAFT — the 4th Saturday of each month we’re always at @belltowercoffee for our outdoor story + craft. Motherhood is the pretty pictures with giggles and connection. But it’s also the holding of your baby on your hip, the nursing of your baby while reading to your toddler, the distribution of ice cream to everyone just how they like it. It’s so much more than pretty. Documentary family photography is a zero posing or directing genre of photography. This Spring, take me up on my offer to document a realistic snap shot (a micro documentary session) of your mothering season. I’ll click the shutter when you’re smiling and connecting, but I’ll also artfully photograph the moments you really don’t even realize are happening— the ones that show just how incredible of a mom you are.

another year with cancer. my latest scan showed no new growth and ya girl been living large ever since!!!!! this video doesn’t show the pain I’m in, the tears, shots, pills, visits, surgeries, or sickness bc honestly that’s not how I remember last year. I remember sitting in radiology alone, sad and tired when I asked the doctor how long I have - I remember his answer and I remember thinkin ‘aint no way’. but what I remember most about 2024 is living my life, loving my people and feeling good about the choices I’ve made. cheers to another year of a life worth living ☀️

So often we hear our patients say they had issues as children or that their issues started with their cycle but they never got care until seeing us as an adult.
