Really didn't want the weekend to end, but it did, and my Deedee left! But we had so much fun, we laughed nonstop, got to meet the esteemed 19 year old obese alcoholic from Manchester, @jimebrown666 (idk i didn't personally find him to be that obese!!! He was quite lovely tbh, and was an incredible performer. Out of town friends, GO SEE HIM, HE IS WILD LIVE. He does have a "no flesh touching policy tho, so don't ask him to sign your body!!!!!) , see my favorite legendary rockerz Uranium Club and @citricdummies , and spend a lot of quality time with beloved friends and my band, and ended the weekend seeing @hirs666 for the first time in ages, which was a pleasant surprise. Music and friendship is all I need in this life of sin!!!

URANIUM CLUB :: or Minneapolis Uranium Club, if you prefer. Been meaning to catch one of their infrequent local shows for some time & they did not disappoint. #minneapolisuraniumclub #uraniumclub ☢️⚛️

The Minneapolis Uranium Club at Harbor Park (Philadelphia), 5/30/26

Nothing's on the level of seeing Uranium Club at a free show in the park, right? I've walked around the Penns Landing area plenty of times over the years -- eaten at the restaurant that's on the boat, I've even been inside the submarine before, ha -- but this is the first time that I've caught one of the free rawk-type shows that 4333 puts on there, even though they've been happening for a couple of years now. Great place to catch a show, too.

Patrick Swayze’s Ghost live at Hairy Marys in Des Moines, Iowa. Probably sometime in 2005? This footage is a trip and sends me right back to high school.
