𝕓𝕠𝕠𝕜 𝕣𝕖𝕧𝕚𝕖𝕨…

𝓔𝓿𝓮𝓻𝔂𝓸𝓷𝓮 𝓲𝓷 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓖𝓻𝓸𝓾𝓹 𝓒𝓱𝓪𝓽 𝓓𝓲𝓮𝓼… by L.M. Chilton

Thank you so much @gallerybooks [#partner, #gifted] for another great advanced reader’s copy. To be clear, I saw this title, saw this cover, and just said yes... I didn’t even look at the synopsis. I was convinced this would be up my alley, and I was right.

This book follows along two timelines [present day and 12 months prior] and follows along with our main character, Kirby. Kirby is a journalist looking to start over in a small town when she finds herself in the middle of a missing person/murder mystery case. After disaster strikes (in the 12-month prior timeline), Kirby leaves the small town thinking it’s all behind her. Until someone comes back from the dead, or so Kirby thinks, and she has to return to the town she thought she left for good.

𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝑰 𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆𝒅:
🖤 Fast-paced and a book that will keep you wanting to turn, say, ‘just one more chapter’
🖤Serial killer story line… like I said, pulls me in all the time.
🖤 For how many dead bodies there end up being piled up, I found the story line light and a bit breezy to consume.
🖤 I enjoyed that you can somewhat predict the big twist at the end, but it still comes as an “oh shit” moment if you were paying attention.

𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝑰 𝒅𝒊𝒅𝒏’𝒕 𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆:
✖️ Mainly, I didn’t feel connected to the main character, Kirby. While I loved her reaction to her gut and can cheer on someone who is in a rut and feeling less than, I overall found her a bit annoying, and I rolled my eyes at her conversationally a lot.

The Perfect French Themed Cafe Does Exist!!

Ok so the truth is my husband wouldn’t come with me 😂 but my sister gladly did! We had so many delicious breakfast and pastries, and even a holiday martini, which was AMAZING!

This cafe is definitely for those who are looking for a more feminine French aesthetic vibe on the lakeside, and I will say it did not disappoint.

This cafe is called Mrs. Coco. It is widely considered the most instagrammable and chic location in Las Vegas with incredible service.

If you’re looking for a cafe with great chic vibes, breakfast and brunch menus with spiked holiday style cocktails that are worthy for your picture bank with friends, this is the place.

If you’re new here, my name is Erica 👋🏻 I’m a real estate expert in Las Vegas and help people move to Las Vegas to call it their new home. If you’re looking to move to Las Vegas or have questions about moving here, comment “move” for my relocation guide.

Here’s the truth 👇
Every rent check you send… pays off someone else’s mortgage.
Every home you buy… pays off yours.

I’d rather build my own wealth, retire through real estate, and create financial freedom — one property at a time. 🏠💸

If you’re ready to stop renting and start owning, I can help guide you through the process.
✅ First-time homebuyers welcome
✅ Investors
✅ Licensed in Florida

Your move decides your future. You rather win, or keep paying rent?

A trip to the lake. A coffee outside. A rest for the wicked. @mrscococafe was worth the ride. @thecafepassport continues to point the way to coffee oases.
