As I was about to about to walk down the aisle/path to marry the love of my life, instead of being all content, I realised something and was like “OH NO! I forgot my bouquet!”. So I had a mini heart attack and felt like “this can’t be real, this can’t be happening”. 😭😅

My handsome man spent sooo much on that bouquet and it was the prettiest bouquet EVER of 19 big beautiful white roses, which also matched his jacket pin. I was thinking, “holy crap, this is a disaster!”. I really wanted to be holding my bouquet during our ceremony and then for our photoshoot afterwards. It would go to waste. 🥺

The photographer was super lovely though! As soon as I told her I forgot my bouquet, she stopped and said that it’s totally okay! That these things happen. So she went to talk to the celebrant and also asked my soon to be husband if he can go get my bouquet from the hotel.

Straight away he said yes, didn’t panic and went back to the hotel to go get it (while I hid behind some bushes so he didn’t see me in my dress). The ceremony was all on time and everyone was ready to go, so this postponed it for a little while but it all turned out okay in the end, thankfully 😍

Brenton told me afterwards that there was no way he would let me do the ceremony without my pretty bouquet and that he would always go get it. So I guess after all that, it shows how sweet he really is!! 🥺❤️ So I guess it made the day a little more special and it makes for a great hero story for him 😆✨

So moral of story, always check if you have everything with you before you walking down the aisle! And DO NOT forget your bouquet!! 😂 What’s something crazy you witnessed at yours or someone else’s Wedding?

It was such an honour to become the coolest person in the World’s wife! Nobody else knows how amazing of a man he is, I would shout it to the whole world though, that he is the sweetest person ever and so kind and loving, caring, generous and giving, it’s hard to describe over Instagram what someone is like through only photos. It was also so amazing to have made my promises to him with my REAL face, rather than a makeup face! I’m super lucky to have found someone who says I am beautiful, just the way I am, and who preferred me not to cover my face with makeup when I married him.

And the date 22/02/2022 🤍 the coolest date to get married on! And yes, we planned it of course 🥰 and was so lucky to get the date as it’s once in a lifetime! ✨

We didn’t know this until the day after our Wedding that the date can also be written backwards and someone on Insta told me that it looks the same upside down in digital font! The date’s meaning is all about romantic partnerships (which I also didn’t know about until afterwards) and that this was the most popular Wedding date this year, more popular than Valentine’s Day, despite being on a Tuesday which is usually a quiet day.

Aside from that, it was also just the 2 of us celebrating our big day together, which was the best decision ever! I love my family and friends but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Some of my family are in Fiji and they would have missed out anyway 🥺 and having interstate families in Australia as well isn’t easy for planning a big party, but maybe one day. ❤️

Weddings should still be about the couple, it was so much more relaxing, intimate and fun just being us 2 there, we could focus on each other and our photos for memory - rather than worrying or stressing about Wedding guests. We had the weather on our side too! We had just finished our ceremony and photoshoot and then it started raining non-stop for like a week. 😬

On the 22/02/2022 I married my handsome, sweet soul mate! 🤍✨👰🏾‍♀️ It was unforgettable and magical! I’m officially Mrs Marshall (or Mrs Marshmalloww 😉).

The ceremony was so beautiful and romantic, just the 2 of us. I wouldn’t have it any other way. It was an honour to be the one standing in front of him, reading our vows, being in the moment and promising to be together forever. There is nobody else I would want to spend the rest of my days with. I wish we could have a Wedding all the time, that’s how fun it was 😍

I can’t wait for the rest of our adventures as I fall more and more in love with the coolest husband ever! @brenton.marshall

I love you with all of my heart and I’m so blessed to be your wifey 🌹❤️

P.S. And yep, I stuck to my beliefs and went completely without makeup to my Wedding! 🥰
