Season finale. LDC Day 2- Crashed out/ DNF. Everyone’s okay, still can’t feel my legs, but otherwise just bumps and bruises. Thankful the car did its job and me and @fourlow got away unscathed for the most part. Sadly, the chassis appears to have twisted pretty good. Managed to do a full barrel roll without touching the roof. And landed on our side. Part of racing, going to have them bad days with the good days. Thank you to @powersport_pros for building a car that kept us safe. @herlingracing and @energycontractor for all the help getting us to the races and the hospitality this weekend. If it wasn’t for the crash, it was an absolutely epic weekend at the races. I have the best team of friends around me I could have ever asked for. Huge shoutout to @matthews_media__ for the content this weekend. He absolutely killed it and is awesome to work with. Time to rebuild and be back for 2027.

Part4- At the Tonopah pit, they tell us the car isn’t actually hurt that bad. Just cosmetic. Some smashed up and rashed body panels, a torn up fender. The main thing hurt is just my ego at this point. I take a second during the pit and look at my phone, all kinds of people watching the @starstreampro have seen what we are going through and are cheering us on to keep pushing. It’s crazy how many people actually go on this journey with us. I owe it to everyone involved to get it across the finish line. So we continue on with one goal, don’t be stupid, and make it to Crystal. No more drama. We get through pits 8 and 9 with no issues, and pull into 10 for fuel. The crew once again crushes a super Fast Fuel stop, and sends us off into the dark. Everything in me wants to start pushing hard, I LOVE night racing, but there’s no point. We are last in our class. I remind myself, Don’t be stupid, don’t throw it away. We get through the Amargosa area and start seeing tons of carnage, dead cows, crashed cars, etc. We soldier on, we make it through pit 11 at Amargosa air field and we start hearing radio chatter about stuck trucks on the access road. Hope none of them are ours I say to myself as we run a fast pace on familiar roads I’ve raced on a lot. We finally make it to the finish line at 3am after one of the hardest fought finishes of my racing career. It was the longest week, and it gave us every single reason to give up. But giving up isn’t in my nature, even if we are in last place. There’s a saying I’ve memorized and live by. “Failure and success are on the same road, it’s just that failure is an earlier exit.” Today, we didn’t win. But we didn’t fail either. Officially last in class to finish. I owe a huge thank you to all the crew guys, to everyone who helps make this possible for me. It takes a village, and we have the best one that’s for damn sure. Gotta give a massive shoutout to @herlingracing and @powersport_pros for making this all possible. Thank you everyone who supports me, follows along, and cheers us on for this crazy dream of mine. It’s surreal to wake up to all the texts and people who followed us all day. Up next, LDC in October 🤘🏻

Part3- So Thad jumps out, and starts diagnosing our issue. We have zero fuel pressure, switch to the backup pump, still none. Shit, we have some issues. I knew I should of done a better job dodging those water holes….. Rescue is nearby, and is able to come help us. As well as bring some tools and parts from our team. We diagnose it, hardwire a fuel pump, and we are back in business! We get down to pit 4, after almost the entire field racing has passed us, and we get fuel and are on our way. It’s time to push again and start making up time on pit closures so we don’t time out. We charge forward, make lots of passes, @turn2tv heli chases us and gets some epic footage. We are really flowing and having fun…. And then I hit a rock. Not just a rock, a whole ass Boulder. There’s no other way to put it. The front tire excavates a refrigerator sized boulder, and as the rear tire hits it it violently flips us on our side…. Thad jumps out, gets the car 60% of the way back over with our AGM jack, and a kind can am stops and pulls us the rest or the way over. But the problem is? We are high centered on the same rock that flipped us and have a blown apart front wheel that won’t come off. Rescue gets to us after about an hour, and helps us get going. I take it easy for a mile, make sure the car feels good, and then we start digging. We HAVE to make the next pit cut off or they will put us on the trailer. We BARELY make it into and out of the pit with about 40 seconds to spare. Thank you to the entire crew who fueled and did everything we needed in that pit in record time. Without you guys, we’d of been cut off! But this dog still has some hunt in it. Through Pit 7 Tonopah, we are halfway through the race and it’s already 10pm 😅 we’re used to finishing at this time usually. But I have a team behind me that wants to keep pushing, and I will never give up myself. - To be continued

Part1- Vegas to Reno “The other way” This one has been hard to write up. This was a week of testing my mental strength and the entire teams, to say the least. This was the best example of “You can let it beat you, or you can go beat it.” I wanted to drive this entire race myself, no second driver. Just me and my two arms and @flyingskier24 calling the shots for the longest point to point offroad race in the USA. It started off Tuesday on the way up, my old faithful F150 toasted a motor. After trying to fix it unsuccessfully in the middle of goldfield, the decision was made we’d send the box truck the rest of the way with @jlhaman and Thad. Me, @enyal.w and @cole_layne710 would get a tow back from @blainedavis547 of Ironborn and regroup the next day with a solution. That solution ended up being taking Cole’s truck up, so we could still cover the pits we were going too with my truck, and cover some of the @vitalmotionco racers at the remote pits. Wednesday we get to Reno about 6pm. Perfect timing, just opted to skip qualifying and get settled in for the night and hit tech the following day. Tech goes nice and smooth, we meet up with our crew that was already up there, and lay out the game plan for Friday race day. As my dad pulls into town with @coop____deville , to join the pit meeting, he parks with us and discovers he has a tire going low. So we send him to discount tire to get it fixed, where they promptly sell him new tires to fix it. Crises averted, we are good. @fourlow and @mrsrowdyracing take the race car with them to their house because they live ten minutes from the start. @wannabe_wagon and his group take the dump cans with them to fuel them up, And the team settles in for the night. — To be continued.

In a year that has tested every bit of resolve, the desert has reminded me why we keep pushing forward in life. This was a team effort, and the team behind me doesn’t accept failure. We barely made a pit closing time after I tipped the car on its side, but we pulled together and made this 3 for 3 on V2R finishes. More to follow after I get more media and photos in. All I can say is how thankful I am for this crazy life I live and my friends who chase me around the desert at 3am.

Hello Instagram 🙋🏻‍♂️ I’ve been MIA for a bit, but heard there was a race this week. So we are back online for @bestinthedesert V2R. We’ve made some major changes to the race car, @dertco built us a fresh bumper with a killer @diodedynamics light setup, and remounted our seats. We did a lot of other things in house that I’ll go over in another post. Had the pleasure of getting my helmet painted by a new painter in the vegas area, That will get a proper reveal later. But there’s some teasers there for yah. I’m so excited to head out to Reno tomorrow with part of the team to meet the rest of the team already up there and get this party started 🤘🏻 the other half heads up Thursday to chase us back to vegas Friday.

⚠️ Night Vision 250 Race Recap ⚠️

After knocking out an amazing wedding in the pits on Friday night and marrying the love of my life @mrsrowdyracing , we switched gears and got into race mode Saturday. @dheiser11 and I qualified 18th after a 30 second start gap and zero visibility with 2 trophy trucks starting in front of us. We cleaned the car up and went to @reviveandrehydr8 for an IV before we relaxed for an hour prior to gearing up for the race.

We had 6 uneventful laps. We had a good bit of corrected time so we planned on running within 1 minute either way of second place in class then turn it up as the temperature dropped and we could push harder. Had some fun going back and forth with the Kawi boys on one lap ( @steveaustinbrokenskullracing ) but other than that and getting our doors blown off by the 1st OA truck on the last lap, we were on our own most of the race. @dheiser11 ran a great pace on the last lap and we ended up putting 2 minutes on physical second and getting the 🥈 on corrected time.

That makes 7 @valleyoffroadracingassociation races with 7 podiums across 2 seasons so far for the Heiser Motorsports/Rowdy Racing crew. We couldn’t do it without the always killer Rowdy Race Support crew, my folks, the wives/girlfriends, and the friends and family that came out to help and support.

Congrats @getbentfabworks on the gold in the twin to my car 🐝
