No Greater Joy than to SERVE alongside our Legacies in Delta!

Everyday, I’m GRATEFUL for Delta choosing my daughter Shirelle Shipman and these other dynamic Legacies to continue carrying out the mission, vision and values of our esteemed organization. As our DST International President @dstinternationalpresident says, “Every Soror has a role to play.” These legacies know their role!

THANK YOU @bcacdst Broward County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, @southerndst1913 Southern Region of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated and @dstinc1913 Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc, we’re Anchored in Legacy and Evolving with Intention. When you know what God says about you, you don’t have to be moved by what people say about you.

Stay grounded. Stay faithful. Stay focused. Let God’s voice be the loudest.

The joy of sisterhood flowed throughout our entire @southerndst1913 conference this weekend. It was embedded in our smiles, felt in our laughter and visible in our strut. Oh to be a Delta girl! 🤗❤️📸✨

The year was 2017… 😂

I’m finally at a place where I can tell my story. This was the year I was lovingly bamboozled into betraying myself and tapping into my ✨feminine energy✨… all in the name of sisterhood.

The manipulation? Elite. The plot twists? Unmatched. The character development? Still under review. 🤣

Enjoy this rare footage while you can because I’ll probably delete it soon… especially after my completely fictional Netflix documentary drops. 🍿🎬

Culture is one of the few things that can bring people from every background together.

This weekend, the Bahamas Goombay Festival in Miramar was hosted by Commissioner @avrilformiramar Avril Cherasard. It was great to see families, local businesses, entertainers, and the community all in one place celebrating Bahamian culture.

Goombay is more than just music. It’s a symbol of Bahamian history, resilience, and community. The sound of the Goombay drums represents a culture that has been passed down through generations, reminding us of the importance of preserving our heritage while creating opportunities for the next generation.

Events like this matter because they keep traditions alive, support local businesses and artists, and give young people a chance to see the beauty of where they come from.

Thank you to Commissioner Avril Cherasard and everyone who helped make this event happen. Looking forward to seeing this celebration continue to grow each year.

Celebrated the 53rd Independence of The Bahamas with family and friends at the Inaugural Goombay hosted in the City of Miramar

What a pleasure to finally meet @sawyerboytv and his son, featured authors and vendors and Bahamians from all over South Florida! 🇧🇸 With all that’s going on in this country, the laughter of Sawyerboy gets me through each day and keeps the load lighter.

Congratulations to all of the vendors who participated in making the event memorable for all. 🎉🎉🎉👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🇧🇸🇧🇸🇧🇸
