Congratulations to my newest dad friend, although country musics many dad joke songs have surely trained him well for this big moment 😂🤠. @mrtlwg and his weekly live variety show @honky_talkin have meant a lot to me over the past two years. Tyler does his part to keep Louisville weird and I know his newborn will follow suit in their own way! You’re gonna be a great dad with the best nursery aux cord around.

We had big plans for one final show before taking a break for parenthood, but parenthood had other plans. We’ve got a healthy baby boy on our hands! He chose to be born on Dolly Parton Day (9/25, duh) which was very cool. Mom’s doing great, her body is an absolute miracle, and dad is here too. Before we took a break, I wanted to give a huge thank you to everyone who puts in time and effort every week to make the show worth every dollar we charge at the door. And I wanted to say thank you to all you buttholes that come watch us goof off week in and week out. We already miss you guys, and we can’t wait to get back at it sometime in 2027. Taj is the photographer behind CulturedKhaki Photography. He’s based in Louisville, Kentucky and focuses on capturing authentic moments, energy, and atmosphere - especially in live music and events. He also shoots portraits, sports, street photography, lifestyle, and documentary-style photos. He enjoys capturing candid moments and telling a story through the images.

Taj’s most memorable photography experience has been shooting bands performing live in smaller venues where he can get close to the performers and really capture the energy of the room. It’s about the lighting, movement, crowd, and music all coming together that makes every shot feel different. Those experiences are what really made Taj fall in love with concert photography.

@mrtlwg brings music, comedy, local characters and plenty of personality to his weekly variety show, Honky Talkin’ with TLWG, at the Whirling Tiger every Tuesday.

From musical guests to interviews with Louisville locals, Gill’s mission is simple: get people out of the house and connected to what’s happening right here in their city.
