This will basically never not be awesome. 😁 (Prop 8 rally in LA the day after the 2008 election. Believe it or not, we couldn't find Tegan, but Tegan found us!)

Throwback to ten years ago when @teganandsara posted this on their MySpace page, which no longer exists (thank god for screenshots!) 😂😂😂 We went to L.A. on the day after the '08 election to join the massive #Prop8 protests, and Tegan somehow found us in the crowd!

Totally amused by this Glasgow postcard from early 2017 -- I'd never seen what @teganandsara had written before, ha! Also love this one from Montreal in 2010, which included @shaunhuberts, @ted_gowans, @mrtubes, @notmrrory, @smatchmo, and...mystery signer?? Ack, I can't remember!

Today is my 50th @teganandsara show. First saw them as support act at Barfly, London in March 2005 when I was 15.
Life would be very different if 14 year old me had never come across them. My gratitude to having had out, proud and political role models as a queer teenager is something I can't understate. Nor is the community, friends and experiences that come from deciding to basically follow them across continents.
I've still yet to really find anything better than front row centre at a #teganandsara show, and I hope that's true for many shows to come <3
Thank you for all the memories of a lifetime Tegan and Sara! <3
