Happy Father’s Day to all the Dad. Although our day isn’t celebrated as much as others…we are very important to the success of our families. I’m blessed to have and had great men in my life to mold me into the father I am today. I couldn’t be the best dad I can be without my wonderful wife who helps make the job easier.

Sacrifices…4 years of hard work in the class room graduating with at 3.2 GPA, 4 years of grinding on the football field resulting in an opportunity to play on the next level at Centenary College of Louisiana, 4 years of growing as a young man finding his own voice, 4 years of learning what it means to be accountable and have character, 4 years of pouring into him to strengthen his faith, leadership, and love for family is visible and represented as @yung._brandon90 walked across the stage to receive his diploma. To everyone who has poured into our son to get him where he is today, Thank you! To our Son…We got to see the growth daily even when there were days that didn’t go so great. We know that as long as his keeps close all the lessons taught from everyone who poured into him the next chapter will be better than the last. Congratulations Son, everyone is so proud of you!

To the woman who prays over our kids, always shows up, fusses when needed, consoles when necessary, sacrifices her time, energy, and more to ensure our home runs; raising a house full of honor roll students, and nurturing every gift inside of them, all while being the beautiful human being you are inside and out….on behalf our kids and me we Love you and want to wish you the happiest Mother’s Day!

To my Mom, you showed me love when I needed it, grace when I didn’t deserve it, doing your best raising 3 young men all while never missing a beat, protecting us from the world and ourselves…Love you and Happy Mother’s Day to you.

Lastly to my Granny, you were there the whole time, loving my brothers and me, even when we overflowed your dishwasher, or deserved every whipping we got. All while being funny, creative, and always proud of us…Love you and Happy Mother’s Day to you too.

DAY 9: MGP X 76ERS X HENESSY🏀

Im so grateful to have participated in the @mgproject during my spring break and happy it even aligned with my break.❤️

I met so many great people who I’m still in touch with to this day and have so many fun memories. From sharing laughs to having breakfast together to feeling inspired to create and launch my own business.

📝The lesson: It is so important to be in spaces with people who look like you and understand being a creative. In one week, I felt validated, seen, and recognized for my creative gifts. Always apply for that opportunity, you never know what will happen.

When they said nothin but net, this is what they meant.

I participated in the @mgproject for their Sports Marketing Program during Spring Break and had the most amazing time. I’m so grateful to God for aligning my schedule with this opportunity. Everyone I met during this program was driven, kind, and so resilient; they even inspired me to go even harder in my industry. During this time, I made connections and became confident in my skills. To the mentors, thank you for your guidance and support! To my Chamberlain Collective Agency, yall are the best and so hardworking. So happy we could work together and pitch a fantastic marketing campaign.

My advice? Please check out the program and try everything you can. Don’t second guess an opportunity, just go for it. Because there’s nothing but net.🏀

April 4th is always a special day because it means another day my brothers and I get to celebrate our mother’s birthday. Growing up she was the constant in our lives. Always involved in our school activities, disciplining us when we needed, but always telling us she loved us. One of my favorite memories is my first day of kindergarten, she knew I was shy and sat with me for breakfast till it was time for me to go to class. As I ate my orange from breakfast the juice squeezed out and hit us both and at that moment I knew I would be alright as we laughed and smiled. Covid tried to take her out but I’m blessed God has given more time to make more memories. Enjoy your birthday mom!
