Earlier this year, I had the honor of officiating the wedding of two of my best friends in one of the most beautiful places in the world—Portugal.

Despite it being my first time officiating a wedding, I never questioned whether I could do it. I walked into it feeling completely confident and honored to be entrusted with such an important role.

It’s funny how life works. We all met at work years ago, never knowing we’d become the kind of friends who would stand beside each other through life’s biggest milestones. Somewhere along the way, coworkers became chosen family.

Mariem and Cory, thank you for trusting me with such an unforgettable role in your love story. Standing there with you, looking out at everyone who loves you, and having the privilege of pronouncing you husband and wife is a memory I’ll carry with me forever.

A true bucket-list moment—and one I’ll cherish for the rest of my life. 💝

Happy Halloween !! Being here for an internship on the west coast has been the kind of experience you read about in some fuckass celebrity’s Wikipedia, except it’s the real deal. The best part about this place, after all the attractions, the weather, the food, and the hype, is without a doubt, the people. gonna miss it hella when i gotta skate back to the east coast LOL
