🎇 NOVELTY POT: FIRE 8/30 at Color Club 5:00-8:30pm 🕯️MARKET BAZAAR, FASHION SHOW, PERFORMANCE SHOWCASE, ZINE RELEASE 🔥The theme of the event is FIRE and dressing on-theme is encouraged! 🆓 The event is free and open to the public! No tickets required, but there will be an eventbrite link in bio for those who want to get a ticket early and secure sum perks! 🛍️ Zines and custom bags will be available in exchange for a donation 👠 Audience members are encouraged to walk in the fashion show, showing off their FIRE look or as a volunteer model for the vendors 🍦Color Club serves food and drinks for sale, including their special summer weekend pop-up The Sugar Hole, where puppets serve ice cream! 🤡 BEST WORST PHOTO DUMP 🤡 For years the idea of this pageant sat in notebooks gathering dust, but with the help of an amazing production team and an even more amazing pool of contests we did the damn thing! One hot mess, three amazing members of production, 45 submissions, 8 amazing contestants, and a sold out audience truly brought this dream to life. Whether you were on stage, in the audience, or watching from home, this has truly been a passion project and I cannot WAIT to see what comes next. Two days ago me and Gemini Kirk lost our home together and everything we had in a fire in Rockford. We awoke at 4am to heat and flames on the 2nd floor of our building. Evacuated immediately. Some people lost pets. The building was demolished. The apartment management company is saying it’s arson but I’m calling their bs, because it’s probably their negligence that created an unsafe living environment. We are currently recovering at my parents house. Several families lost everything as well, including my friend and neighbor @romeoromeo6033 please send love his way too
