Sometimes we as stylists... especially Locticians... see the end result at the very beginning.
Here we are with a request for:
-Loc Installation with instant locs on natural hair
-Add curly pieces from a weft (so cut it off of the weft, instant loc it and then install it to the instant locs that are being created on the head)
-Keep the same sized parting as the boxed braids that were just taken out
-Keep at least 75% integrity of the natural hair
-Cut the hair into a shape for layers afterwards

To go straight from boxed braids to a Loc retwist as if it's only been 2 months since the last retwist is diabolical!!!!! Who can do that?????

Licensed Cosmetologist🎀

Oh, the days I’ve waited for this moment. 🤍

This wasn’t something I did just for fun or because everyone else was doing it. This was a dream I’ve carried with me since I was 7 years old. I still can’t believe I get to say I accomplished what my younger self set out to do.

There were countless early mornings, long days, hours of studying, practicing, and preparing for every test. To say it was hard and exhausting would be an understatement, but making it to the other side has shown me just how much we’re capable of when we refuse to give up.

I’m especially thankful for my teacher and everything she helped me through along the way. Her support, encouragement, and positivity made such a difference, and I’m so grateful to have had her in my corner.

Everyone’s journey looks different, and this is mine. I’m so grateful for every challenge that brought me here, and I can’t wait to see where this accomplishment takes me next—all while continuing to enjoy what has always been one of my favorite hobbies. ✨

I have officially graduated Metro Tech! 🎓🎀🫶🏼

The opportunity metro has give me are unexplainable, I've got to learn hands on in my career path in Cosmetology, I have earned my 1000 hours in that as well and I'm ready to take my state board so I can be officially licensed! But they have also helped me with my leadership and being on SkillsUSA has been the biggest change of my life, I never thought I would be in a leadership role and definitely not public speaking but without the support and motivation from the Metro Tech staff I couldn't have made it this far! Thank you for giving me so many opportunities and many to come! I will be back soon! #metro4life

My heart is so full! Seeing all these people supporting me yesterday and surrounding me with love, I can't even thank them enough! Each on of you have a special place in my heart! Thank you for believing in me! 💕
