I have been off chemicals on my hair for almost +8 years I think but have kept my hair short in hair cuts from the bold bald look to the good mohawk. I phase you Cee every bit of my stink with short hair , I spiced things up with colour at times, I lived it n was easy in trying the boldest look with my short hair.
During this period I noticed my hair on my crown area grew minimal hair n it was very fine n sensitive. I decided I would keep at my short hair as I feared I was going bald so best hide it with my short hair. The more ladies caught into the mohawk I didn't want to do the look as well (lol, last born tendencies...didn't have any to share the look) hahaha, kidding I just wanted a new look. So I decided to grow my natural hair out n deal with my #lovetender area *I don't speak ill of it #alopeciaareata
It's been an emotional trip n I'm still on the path to learn about the treatment path I am to keep to have my crown filled back to it fullness. It's a very tender to deal with as I don't want to be teased about it nor do I want to say oh well I can't do anything about it. I've come to realize how as society being perfect isn't all it is, we all have shortcomings in our physical beings n finding the right treatment for it is what's needed instead of making others feel any less than what they are...this is my #journey, #mystory, #hairstory #alopeciaawareness
