ADVANCED BALLHANDLING DRILL OF THE DAY: Full Court 1 hand between behind with a hand off

This drill is extremely effective for helping players track the ball down when they do a behind the back dribble.

When you first try this drill it’s okay to start in a jog to get a hang of it, but to really challenge yourself you’ll want to pick up the pace into a run/sprint

I have a free Ness Basketball T Shirt for anyone that can post themselves doing this (well!) at full speed before October 1st!

Click the link in my bio to book a free trial session in our program ✅

DRILL OF THE DAY: 2 ball between the legs crossover with a hand off

This is a great drill to focus on hand speed and coordination while handling the basketball.

After doing this drill in both directions, switch to just 1 basketball and see how much easier/quicker it is for you to go between the legs into a crossover repeatedly

DRILL OF THE DAY: 2 ball zig zag with a hand off

This drill involves changing directions on the move while handing the other basketball over to the other hand instead of dribbling it

There are 3 moves shown in the video in this order:

1) Crossover

2) Between the Legs

3) Behind the Back

Go down and back the length of the court twice with each move

The purpose of handing the non dribbling basketball to the opposite hand during each change of direction is to challenge hand quickness by having to do so before the dribble is completed ✅

Give this one a try/add it to your workout - shoot me a message if you have any questions about it 📩

DRILL OF THE WEEK :1 hand 2 ball alternating dribble on the move

This is an advanced drill that will challenge player’s coordination, timing, and rhythm all at once.

Start the drill off by doing a standard 2 ball alternating dribble and once you establish that rhythm you can remove one hand from the mix (see the video)

This demonstration shows the drill while on the move but a good way to get the hang of it is to start off stationary

Make sure to practice this with both your left and right hand

If you have any questions about this drill, feel free to leave a comment or shoot me a DM ✅
