During October DRS Film Sets are taking part in the Medecins Sans Frontiers ‘By Any Means’ Challenge and with your help we hope to raise over £5000.
The team has set distance goals for hiking, running, cycling, swimming and even kayaking, and together we’ve already achieved well over 500miles.

We are truly grateful to have attended MSF’s exhibition highlighting its work on Ebola in the DRC last Wednesday, at the OXO Gallery. It was an incredibly moving and important reminder of the human stories behind a crisis we don’t see nearly enough in the headlines.🤍Swipe to see some of the photographs and read some of our reflections from this experience!

“I found the exhibition on MSF’s work during the Ebola outbreak in the DRC really interesting, particularly how little publicity the outbreak received despite its devastating impact. I was also struck by the importance of MSF building trust within local communities, especially when fear and misinformation made providing care more challenging. It highlighted to me how humanitarian work goes beyond medical treatment and the importance of understanding and working alongside local communities.” ~ Isabelle

‼️🚨URGENT MEDICAL EVACUATION for Yara ‼️ She is back in the hospital because her condition is worsening, Her pulmonary fibrosis is worsening 🚨
Yara Khalil Jumana Al- Ghoul @save.yara3 , 4-year-old little girl who has spent most of her life inside hospitals instead of playing like other children. Since birth, Yara has suffered from severe lung failure, oxygen dependency , and chest infection. She cannot breathe on her own.

Yara experiences sudden choking episodes and has been admitted to the intensive care unit multiple times 💔

Yara has all the documention, she must evacuate ASAP for medical treatment, because right now in G, no treatment is available for her

She has a protein and albumin deficiency; her oxygen levels are dropping, and she is breathing rapidly.

While there are Israeli doctors who support human rights, the majority are fully involved with the Military and its human rights abuses.

The Israeli Medical Association should be suspended from the World Medical Association

While signatures from the Medical Profession would be particularly welcome, anyone can sign.

Thank you to everyone who came to Pin It On Them at @cornishbank, and to those who took the time to listen, reflect and add their thoughts to the work.

I was especially grateful to be joined by Abd Nabahin (@abd_nabahin), a Photography student at Falmouth University who came to the UK from Gaza. He spoke about his family, the uncertainty they continue to live with, and why art can make space for difficult conversations.

As Abd said: “Political leaders talk about power, war, and strategy, but ordinary people are the ones who lose their homes, the people they love, and their sense of safety. That’s why I think art like this is important. It gives people a way to respond, to question what they see, and to talk about things that are sometimes very difficult to put it in words.”

All ticket proceeds from the event will go to Médecins Sans Frontières @msf_uk

From a hospital room to the edge of the world. 🌍🩹
Swipe to see what a recovery looks like. After a severe head injury on Day 3 in Poland put me in a hospital, I refused to let the dream die.
2000 miles later, I’ve walked through Spain, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Wales (climbing Snowdon 3x in a week!), and Scotland. Currently I’m walking the rugged cliffs of the Lycian Way.
I am pushing my body to the absolute absolute limit to honor my daughter Sian 💜and raise funds for Doctors Without Borders & Re-Solv.
🚨 We are only at a few hundred pounds. I need the hiking community, the travel community, my friends and anyone able to help push this further.
