Working like 🦄 for our clients.

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Our client Joanna took on a fabulous flurry of roles with expert care and attention in DYSPLA’s Surgery Script workshop on Sunday !

Surgery Script is a research and development workshop, facilitated by our sister organisation DYSPLA.

Joanna has been a participant since the early days and has continued to regularly give her time, thoughts and talents to a wide range of texts.

It's always a pleasure to be in the room with Joanna (not only because I'm her agent, but because she values the R and D process)

Joanna is a generous performer, versatile, adaptable and always 100% professional.

Click on her Spotlight
https://app.spotlight.com/3331-3426-5065 for more information.

Every month DYSPLA @dyspla_festival workshop a new script written by a neurodivergent writer / filmmaker. This month we worked on 'Red or Yellow', a new Short written by Sofia Olins @sofiaolinsfilms

We'd like to say a massive thank you to @earlscourtfilmfest for sponsoring the short film scriptwriters' places at Surgery Script.

There's only one Panto dame worth seeing, and that's our client Alex Forman!

We're pleased to announce that Alex Forman will be playing the role of Dame Donut in this year’s production of 'Beauty and The Beast' at the Ropetackle Arts’ Centre !🎭🎄

Alex has a great passion for pantomime and is a fantastic character actor, cultivating a larger than life presence.

We can’t wait to see how he brings Dame Donut to life!

Beauty and The Beast will be performed at The Ropetackle Arts Centre from the 21st December - 5th January.

Our exclusive client Daisy-May was cast as the voice over artist in a new art film titled “Cum Like A Woman” (C.L.A.W) written by Alex Clarke, funded by Earls Court International Film Festival and created by DYSPLA

@sideglobal @liquidvioletuk @omuk you guys really need to have Daisy-May on your radar
Daisy-May is an established voice over artist, recently narrating an audio book titled “Ten Arrows of Iron” out now on audible. Something that makes her voice stand out is how expressive she is with the dialogue. Seen in this film Daisy-May takes on the role of 3 protagonists, giving each character a distinctive voice. This allows for each protagonist to develop an identity which enhances the atmosphere of the film.

Daisy-May has really mastered the art of Automated Dialogue Replacement (ADR), by producing a perfect lip sync with the prerecorded film.

“The White Plague”
-
I had the privilege of watching The White Plague, a few years ago when our client @thepaulcroft was involved. I loved it the first time I saw it and I’m even more excited to see it again. Especially as we now have another two clients involved. Gil Sutherland as “the old man”
and
Alex Kiffin - as “the Doctor”

#PRBlurb
When a mysterious and fiercely contagious virus starts spreading among a major city's population, causing all infected victims to lose their sight, the government takes emergency action and isolates those affected in unprepared quarantine facilities. As the consequences of the epidemic are revealed, citizens are driven to expose the very brightest and darkest aspects of their human nature. Following the stories of five strangers that meet in a quarantined facility, the play uses a dystopian starting point to explore social coherence, gender roles and the survival instincts of a society in crisis. /
★★★★★ "A dystopian immersive masterpiece UNMISSABLE!" (ToDoList London)
/ "A theatrical experience that will stay with you for a long time." (London Theatre 1) ★★★★ /
“bold in its experimentation...playing with many of our senses... a production worth seeing." (London Pub Theatres) /

After show hugs with Gil in Hamburg, who, by the way, has the energy of a toddler: endless playing with endless joy every minute he is on stage!
(Some people really were made for performing). As soon as this job* is over, he starts the drama all over again with another production. We are keeping Gil busy this year!

I’m always bugging my clients to take selfies after their castings. Some clients conveniently forget, but not Alex. He loves it. Loves the attention. Or just loves making me happy. Whatever the reason, I am happy to see him looking so happy after a casting. Lucky that, ...being an actor and all.
Thank you Belinda Norcliffe for calling him in again. @belindanorcliffecasting - .

At this time of year we all look ahead and wonder what 2020 has in store for us, but don’t forget to recognise all the wonderful things you have already achieved and celebrate your wins. Big and small, acting is a privilege not a right, so keep your thought positive and share the love. #notesforactors
