Come with us. This is one day on a Mermaid Week. 🌊

It starts early, up on the top deck — a briefing, the sound of the engine, somebody still half asleep in a sarong while we hear where we are going and what the water is doing today.

Then the tails come out. And from that moment the day stops belonging to the clock.

You get wet. You come back up. You eat far too much breakfast with wet hair. You sit on deck with a cold drink and realise you have not looked at your phone in four hours. And then somebody spots something on the surface, and the whole boat is back in the water in ninety seconds flat.

Late in the afternoon the light goes gold and we go ashore. Sand under your feet, a fire, a barbecue, and the kind of conversation that only happens when nobody has anywhere else to be.

And then, because none of us ever really grew up, we get back in the water in the dark.

By the time you fall into your cabin you are salty, sunburnt, aching in the good way — and already looking forward to tomorrow.

Seven days like this.

📅 22–29 August · 29 August – 5 September · 5–12 September 2027 · 7 nights each
📍 Northern Atolls, Maldives · liveaboard aboard the EcoPro Seascape

Wildlife encounters are never guaranteed. We simply go to the right water at the right time of year, and we always keep a respectful distance.

What a wonderful day in Two Rocks! 🧜‍♀️🍪🌊

I had such a lovely time at this community event. Of course, I couldn’t resist meeting a mermaid and I even decorated my own cookie!

It was also such a lovely surprise to see Cel’s mum and dad. I’ve known their family since my TAFE days, so it brought back some beautiful memories. I also bought some of her homemade chilli—I’ve really missed authentic Italian chilli because what you find in the shops just isn’t the same! 🌶️🇮🇹

It was also so great meeting some of our local business owners, hearing about what they do and having the opportunity to support them.

There is something so special about being surrounded by the Two Rocks community, with the beach nearby and that beautiful coastal atmosphere. The beach has always been my happy place, so this really was such a wonderful day. 💚

You come for the adventure. You go home with pictures like these. 📷

You book it because of the ocean. Because somewhere in you there is a version of yourself who lives in warm water, and once a year you want to go and find her again.

And then the week happens — the salt, the laughing, the giants that come closer than you dared hope, the people who somehow become yours by day three. And you fly home tired and happy and a little sunburnt.

And then, weeks later, on an ordinary grey afternoon at your desk, the photographs arrive.

And there you are.

Not a snapshot somebody took from the boat. Not you squinting into the sun on a beach. You — weightless, in the light, doing the thing you love most, photographed properly by someone who does this for a living and who was in the water with you all week.

Most people have never seen a beautiful picture of themselves in the ocean. That is the part nobody puts in a brochure, and it is the part our guests talk about for years afterwards.

You come for the adventure. You go home with these.

Mermaids, magic… and a whole lot of beautiful chaos 🧜‍♀️✨

From tiny waves to big smiles, our mermaids were non-stop—splashing, chatting, and bringing under-the-sea dreams to life for every little one who stopped by 💙

It’s busy, it’s bubbly, and it’s exactly where the magic happens 🌊💫

I have a vision.
A vision of women who no longer wait.

Women who don’t hesitate.
Women who don’t wait for someone else to give them permission.

Women who take ownership of their lives.
Who go after their vision.
Who keep going, even when it gets uncomfortable.
Who know there is so much more inside them.

I want to build something powerful together with strong, inspiring women in business.
Women who don’t compare themselves, but support each other.
Who celebrate one another, lift each other up, and grow together.

A community of powerful women who truly have each other’s backs.
Who think big together.
Who take bold action together.
And who constantly remind each other how much is possible.

And you know what?

There is space for you here, too.

If this calls you.
If you feel there is more inside of you.
Or if you’re simply curious and want to know what this is about.

Send me a message.

Sweet Ocean Kisses,
Mermaid Kat

Some adventures don’t knock — they call from the depths 🌊✨

In 2027, @mermaidweek is returning to the Maldives with three extraordinary retreats aboard a luxury liveaboard, sailing through one of the most magical places on Earth:
• 22–29 August 2027 (few spots left)
• 29 August–5 September 2027 (sold out)
• 5–12 September 2027 (sold out)

Two weeks are already completely full, and the first week is filling quickly.

This is a week designed for ocean souls. Wake up surrounded by turquoise water, enjoy beautiful meals prepared for you, share beach BBQs on uninhabited islands, and spend your days creating art in and on the ocean 🏝️🔥 We’ll capture stunning moments during photo shoots on deck, on remote islands, and underwater — with manta rays drifting by and a very high chance of swimming with whale sharks 🐋🤍

You’ll be part of a global circle of mermaids and mermen — people who feel most alive in the water, who value connection, creativity, and shared experiences that go far beyond a normal retreat 🧜‍♀️🧜‍♂️✨

If you feel that pull in your chest when you imagine life on the ocean, this might be your moment.

Swim over to www.mermaid-week.com and secure one of the last remaining spots for week one before they disappear 🌊
