THE CLIMB 2.0 🏔️💪🦅

What an incredible day for MSJC Women's Athletics!

Over 100 female student-athletes from soccer, beach volleyball, indoor volleyball, softball, basketball, and cross country came together for the first-ever CLIMB 2.0 Women's Fitness Challenge.

Seven events. One goal. Endless grit, teamwork, resilience, and competitive spirit.

🏆 Congratulations to TEAM PINK for taking home the inaugural CLIMB 2.0 Championship!

Today wasn't just about winning. It was about challenging yourself, stepping outside your comfort zone, trusting your teammates, and discovering what you're capable of when you're pushed beyond your limits.

Community college athletes are a different breed. They balance school, work, family responsibilities, long commutes, and the demands of competing at a high level. They know what it means to overcome adversity, embrace the grind, and keep showing up. They have that DOG mentality—they're relentless, resilient, and refuse to back down from a challenge.

That mentality was on full display today.

Our women's athletic programs at MSJC are filled with some of the most fearless, gritty, hardworking competitors you'll ever meet. Watching every team compete, encourage one another, and celebrate each other's success was a reminder of how special this group of women truly is.

The mountain has always been a symbol of growth. Every challenge you face is another mountain to climb. Every summit you reach gives you a new perspective because you're no longer standing where you started. You've grown stronger—physically and mentally—and discovered what you're capable of achieving.

That's what The CLIMB is all about.

Thank you to every student-athlete and coach who helped make the first CLIMB 2.0 Women's Fitness Challenge such an incredible success. The energy, passion, and support you brought made this event unforgettable.

Keep climbing. Keep competing. Keep believing in each other. The best views come after the hardest climbs. 🦅🏔️❤️

Kiara Williams | 5’0 | Rising Sophomore | Mount San Jacinto College (CA) 🏀

Despite standing just 5’0, Kiara Williams played much bigger than her size at the Women’s JUCO Top 40 Showcase, directed by Area Codes Basketball, in Las Vegas.

The rising sophomore point guard controlled the pace with her elite transition play, outstanding court vision, and ability to run a team.

She consistently created scoring opportunities for her teammates, defended with intensity, and showcased a high basketball IQ throughout all four games.

Williams finished the weekend with 15 points in the Top 20 Game while drawing strong interest from several college coaches in attendance, making her one of the top point guard prospects at the showcase.
