Awesome live recording of the Mathuin Smith Jazz Orchestra at Jammin Java last week!

I worked with the FOH engineer on this one, utilizing in-house mics for live sound as well as my own microphones used solely for recording. Everything went through their Midas M32, allowing me to get the full multitrack without having to use any external hardware.

Thanks Mathuin for the gig!

I had the honor and privilege to join the MSJO on Jan 2 at Jammin Java! I had an incredible time, and we put on a fire show! Here is a snippet of one of Mathuin’s originals “Uncle Sean”!

A bit overdue, but gotta give my gratitude to my dawg and roommate @mathuinsmithmusic for letting me sit in for the @mathuinsmithjazzorchestra . I'm glad and proud that Mathuin was able to pull this off given the adversity he had to face in the process of it. Can't wait to play with him at SU! HUGE thank yous to Mathuin, @erl.czar for finessing this spot to play in, @davis.smith20 for the ride lol, the other bandmates involved in this, and the audience for making this my most enjoyable performance on tenor and a night to remember:)
