DIVINE RETREAT MAINE 2026 - A MUCH NEEDED BREAK FROM THE NOISE 🩷 THANK YOUUUU @publicassistants @eurekapressny @mskrissylou for having me back. Truly lovely to be together in this way ✨ I spent most of my energy enjoying the sound of the leaves and the flavors of the food and the tones of the laughs around me so these snapshots, I feel, don’t even fully capture how much I loved these 11 days away 🌞

🌻🎓🌸🧑🏾‍🩰💐 This summer I went back to Montpellier, France and graduated with my MFA in Dance. An incredibly difficult but beyond rewarding experience. ✨️Soo many people who I wasn't able to capture in these pics that made these last 2 years and graduating from this program possible, so I just want to say thank you! You know who you are 😉 Flip through the pics to learn more about my amazing summer! Ooh and I wrote a book! So stay tuned for details 📚 Research as Action(RAA) is a demonstration of our research over the entirety of the program and long before that. My work included creating a collective of inclusivity with rest as a primary tool. Featuring the beautiful: 🩷Arely 🩵Tina 💚Katya My son and I attended a performance called WASCO! Where children created a painting using art and dance. It was a beautiful blend of inclusivity and artistic creativity! 🎨 Views of Montpellier 🇫🇷 right in front of the Polygone mall Dom and I at my 31st bday dinner! He got to see a show with me on the 2nd to last performance day! 🎫We saw over 30 shows over 2.5 weeks This pic describes the entire summer! Chaotic beautiful and I made it to graduation! 🎓 Examples of rest from my RAA with the flowers that set the aroma for the room - Lavender 💜 Graduation day with my 5 other fellow graduates! 💚Nhu 💛Kristen 🩷🩵Bianca and Béla My flower scavenger hunt💐 Bianca's RAA ✨️ Featuring the gorgeous 🩷Emily 💜Jhelan 🩵Tina The entrance/exit of L'Agora the Danse (dance) and choreography school in Montpellier These cute hair salon 💓💇‍♀️ The beautiful Nene❤️ who made it possible while watching 2 of my babies👶🏾 The courtyard of Agora! 💜 📸 @sheygod The beautiful 🩵Tina and 🩷Arely! Couldn't have made it through these last 2 summers without them The Mamas!💜 Crazy that all of us came to France with our young children, but we did that! ✔️This support and understanding does not go unnoticed along with our support systems that allowed us to make it through!💯 💙Banning 🩵Tina 🩷Bianca 💚Nhu 💛Parisa Last photo from my RAA! Congratulations to those who held their artist talks on Tuesday & Wednesday night!👏🏼 Each year, we gather during Week 5 to watch, listen, and witness the graduating MFA candidates as they share their artist talks. Artist talks are a continuation of Portfolio taught by Emily Wexler and presentations are curated with the guidance of Chelsea Zeffiro and Cameron Childs. These intimate histories are intertwined with themes of identity, adversity, devotion, and practice from portfolio to public-facing offering. #benningtoncollege #benningtonmfalr
