When sisterhood meets purpose, we don’t just show up, we SLAY! 💙🩷✨

Our Hammond-Northshore moms came together ready to connect, collaborate, learn, and continue elevating the work we do for our children, our families, and our community @jackandjill_southcentralregion #areaworkday

There’s something special about women working together with a shared vision. We’re building stronger bonds, creating lasting memories, and setting the standard for what it means to Keep It Elite!

And yes… WE SLAYED! 👏🏾✨

Celebrating Community, History, and Purpose!
The Hammond-Northshore Chapter is thrilled to kick off our program year by celebrating Jack and Jill Day and honoring Carole Robertson Day.
We choose to begin our year in a celebratory way because joy and togetherness strengthen our bond as a community. At the same time, we pause to honor the memory of Carole Robertson and the young lives lost during the 16th Street Baptist Church bombing. By coming together, we recommit ourselves to empowering our youth, building strong leaders, and moving forward with purpose, always remembering our history, our legacy, and our mission.
Here’s to a impactful year of growth, leadership, and service!

Ahoy, mothers! ⚓️✨
It’s time to set sail! Following our rejuvenating retreat, the mothers of the Hammond-Northshore Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. have officially returned to business, fully refreshed and ready to steer into the new program year.
With a beautiful nautical theme guiding our journey, we came together to anchor ourselves in sisterhood, renew our spirits, and nurture the families and communities we love so dearly. There is nothing quite like smooth sailing when you have a crew of incredible women by your side! 🌊💙

The best part about working at a psych hospital for me, is actually witnessing the severity of mental health and watching patients overcome. My job requires a great deal of mental strength. There are days I don’t feel up to it, and days I can’t wait to get to it, both days I give 100%.

21% of adults are experiencing at least one mental illness. That’s roughly 50 million people.
55% of adults with a mental illness have not received any treatment.
5.44% of adults experience severe mental illness.

Please, take care of yourself! And if you need assistance, don’t be ashamed to get it!

Oh teddy!

When I saw the shower this mom had to celebrate his upcoming arrival, I just knew we had to incorporate a few teddy bears.
